BoneDog Posted 22 April 2012 Posted 22 April 2012 I just bought a BB Shotgun Good buy! I used to have a BB gun. Great fun. I left my shank and my BB gun at my mums by accident some months back and she chucked them both away and the dustmen took them. Unbelievable! So now I'm completely weaponless.
Rincewind Posted 14 May 2012 Posted 14 May 2012 I have just bought a web digital camera for £2.99. Got it from the Samara tans shop Still in the box with packaging. The mark is Bedlam and has a price of £15 on the box. Istalled. Wasn't working to start with but got it working. Took test shots but not saved them. Just previewed Got the cine camera working too. Still need to study the instructions more. I do have another in the house somewhere and one of my laptops has a built in camera. Don't know if I am able to do it but I want to set it up on my other laptop in the kitchen facing out the window to capture who enters and leaves the house. There has been dodgy things happening from other flats in the past. Would like continuous footage recording over one disc. Is this possible?

There has been dodgy things happening from other flats in the past. Would like continuous footage recording over one disc. Is this possible? It might be easier and a little more discreet to use a little motion sensor device that films for a set amount of time when triggered by motion. I use similar cameras at work. The ones I use are just over £100, but I'm sure you can get one much cheaper than that, we just need a few other features like night vision and weather proof that rack the price up. With continuous footage it would take an age to find what you wanted and would take up a lot of memory filming when nothing was happening. Something that didn't film continuously would also save on power.
Rincewind Posted 14 May 2012 Posted 14 May 2012 It was just an idea. Been OK last few weeks. Bloke in other flat is a bit vulnerable and is taken advantage of. He has had a history with drugs although I don't think he uses now. This house has been target by dealers. stems from previous ocupant. In the last year they have used the passage way which means when bloke next door doesnt let em in they may break the door lock. I have spoken to one of the housing officers dealing with the property and she says the police are aware of the activities. Maybe they've been caught. She said there was a camera next door but doesn't point at omy door. I have put a notice in the hallway which says there is CCTV installed. I have a video camera on a tripod pointing out my kitchen window. No film in. Just hope The ones doing see it. If I do go back work I'd like to put up a dummy camera. I have mentioned it to the housing and suggested it. Supposed to have had a meeting but she was out on the day. Never know what goes on though as bloke in other flat is in and out all the time. I don't know where he goes at midnight cos he is back after less than 10 minutes. The mosque isn't open at that time is it. He is a muslim and he once showed me all the times he had to pray.

The Range on Abbey Lane near B&Q did some nice prints last year, I imagine they're probably still flogging them, some where huge and really well priced too.
BoneDog Posted 15 May 2012 Posted 15 May 2012 Finally got a new main television. We've been using a 27inch massive Panasonic for years. It's heavier than about 60 bricks and has already dented the carpet after being moved to the spare room floor. The back of that TV is about four foot long and you have to do the long jump to climb over it. Nearly put my back out shifting it and people call me "Dwain Chambers", so you can imagine how heavy it is. Anyway, no need to worry about all that now as we've got a new 32inch flat one. After I put it up on it's stand I chest-bumped the Mrs and said. "Welcome to the big time bitch".
Rincewind Posted 18 May 2012 Posted 18 May 2012 A pin-striped waistcoat which sort of matches my two piece pin striped suit an a (cringe) a Jeffery Archer book. I was reluctant at first but it has illustrations by Chris Searle and it is a collection of short stories (not a novel) which he collected whilst in the nick. Thought they might be amusing.
Tielemans63 Posted 18 May 2012 Posted 18 May 2012 An Umbro New York Cosmos shirt in green - £40. Lovely.
Tielemans63 Posted 18 May 2012 Posted 18 May 2012 Submarine, 28 Days Later and Withnail and I for under a tenner in Asda. Bargain!

The Range is quite a good shop to browse, they sell a varied and strange array of products. Anyway I digress, I bought some large canvas from there along with some oil paints. Had a bit of time on my hands so made some stencils of album cover designs I like etc and in the end looked quite good. Also, quite cheap compared to buying a good painted canvas. Worth a try if you're into that sort of thing but can be time consuming.
Amin Posted 20 May 2012 Posted 20 May 2012 Had to get a new 320gb PS3 slim to replace my old launch day one. Got SSX with it too.
BoneDog Posted 20 May 2012 Posted 20 May 2012 I received an electric toothbrush from the mother-in-law recently. It wasn't my birthday or anything so am not sure if she was saying I've got yellow teeth or was just being kind as she knew I was the only one without an electric tooth washer. I always said I didn't want one. I like old style toothbrushes and enjoyed going to Tescos and choosing which new snazzy kind of manual brush I was going to have next. However, after using said electric toothbrush I'm astounded at the results. My teeth felt cleaner and smoother the very first time I used it. I ran my tongue over them, as sexy people do on the tele, and the smoothness was unreal. They are also definitely one shade less yellow than they were. Marvellous. I'm sure that soon I will have pure white and sparkly teeth like the love machine guido looking types on The Only Way Is Essex. HIGH FIVE. Watch how I roll. EDIT : And if you are wondering which toothpaste I use to get these fabulous results, it's 'Arm & Hammer Enamel Care'. I swear by it.
