Captain... Posted 8 August 2012 Posted 8 August 2012 Asus EEE Pad transformer: Lovely bit of kit, detachable docking keyboard gives it extra 7 hours of battery, the best bits of a tablet, with the advantage of a proper keyboard, and up to 15 hours of battery life, if you are not tied to apple, I would highly recommend them as one of the best android tablets.
HEGGSY Posted 8 August 2012 Posted 8 August 2012 Yes Shrap!!! You finally took the plunge They're brilliant aren't they?

stix Posted 8 August 2012 Posted 8 August 2012 £250-£299 Stix Cheers bud. A snippet! Might have to invest in something like that. My lappy is on its very last leg.
Head Honcho Posted 8 August 2012 Posted 8 August 2012 Just over a fiver for the book 1001 albums to hear before you die.
Guest Col city fan Posted 8 August 2012 Posted 8 August 2012 Good buy! I used to have a BB gun. Great fun. I left my shank and my BB gun at my mums by accident some months back and she chucked them both away and the dustmen took them. Unbelievable! So now I'm completely weaponless. Im currently in Skeggy and these guns are everywhere in the shops! In fact, there's one shop dedicated to BB guns and 'gas powered' guns.. What's the difference, if any, and are they any good? I can only assume people in Lincolnshire like shooting stuff!
Guest Col city fan Posted 8 August 2012 Posted 8 August 2012 That's a super bit of furniture. I love antique furniture. Expensive Thrac?
AjcW Posted 8 August 2012 Posted 8 August 2012 It Wyms...... In his stately home he still thinks its the 1960's!
Rincewind Posted 9 August 2012 Posted 9 August 2012 Does nearly bought count? Looked in JB Sports. They have City shirts at £10. Not the new version but I was tempted.
Fox92 Posted 9 August 2012 Posted 9 August 2012 Massive fan of The Kinks, I think everyone knows Went to Meadowhall last Friday and saw the Village Green album for £17 at HMV. Always wanted the album but wasn't shelling out that price. Brought it off of eBay on Wednesday for £2, but I thought I brought the single one-disc album. Anyway, just got back home, and the Village Green album is here, but it's the 3-disc version. So pleased. :D

The three disc release is really good, worth it for the original mono versions alone.
Fox92 Posted 9 August 2012 Posted 9 August 2012 Lucky bugger... Got the iPad yet? Not yet... Just freeing up my finances first, and I've got university coming up next month, so I'll see where things stand then. Might even wait 'till Christmas, but I still want one! Amazing album! It would definitely be in my top 10 favourite. The three disc release is really good, worth it for the original mono versions alone. Yeah, just been playing it. Is one of my favourite albums already! I didn't even know I'd bid on the three disc release, so to come home and the three-disc album be sitting here is better than expected. Nice quote by Pete Townsend in the book as well.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 9 August 2012 Posted 9 August 2012 This! Honda CB-1, love it. Been over 4 years since I owned a bike and am really glad to be back on 2 wheels (note: the oil is not from the bike)

Zingari Posted 9 August 2012 Posted 9 August 2012 This! Honda CB-1, love it. Been over 4 years since I owned a bike and am really glad to be back on 2 wheels (note: the oil is not from the bike) looking at the oil stains on the floor , I'd guess someone had an old British bike stood there before
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 9 August 2012 Posted 9 August 2012 Nice bike. 1000cc inline four? Cheers! No, despite the name it's a 400cc (inline 4) - Japanese import. Not amazingly fast but revs to 15krpm so makes a nice enough sound! Zingari - the oil stains on the drive are from my better half's S reg Punto. I think another tin of Stop-Leak is due...
