Peatling_terrier Posted 16 June 2011 Posted 16 June 2011 How dooo!! Leicester based Huddersfield fan here, no doubt you'll have heard of our horrible play-off defeat to those jokers down the road!! Anyway following this a few of our star players have been linked away, and two of them have been linked to Leicester. Alex Smithies, to replace Chris Weale and Lee Peltier to play right-back or centre-mid. Just wanted to know what you all thought of this and whether or not you've heard anything?? Our manager and chairman have slapped a £1 million plus price tag on each player, and I reckon you'd need to pay between 2.5 to 3 million for them both. IMO you can hve Smithies, he's a quality keeper but like Weale he's prone to high-profile gaffes and we're quite happy with Ian Bennet for the time being, but don't want to see Pelts leave!! Its always a shame for promising youngsters to leave a team just to sit in someones reserves.. i would hate to see this happen. Prefer to see people progress by playing regular footy and then move on.

Peatling_terrier Posted 16 June 2011 Author Posted 16 June 2011 Pelts is a quality player, you'd warm to him as he always puts in 110 per cent, and he's not too shabby either. Real solid right back, with attacking potential and in CM he gets stuck in, breaks up attacks and generally kicks owt that moves!! Fingers crossed you're not willing to pay a million quid for him though!
