Bellend Sebastian Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 Well they've been bang on the money so far.. Ben Mee and Shane Duffy on loan. Thoughts? Is he in Boyzone?
StevieLCFC Posted 28 June 2011 Author Posted 28 June 2011 Is he in Boyzone? Isn't that Keith Duffy..? , Shane Duffy is a centre back who plays for Everton.
FrankieADZ Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 would prefer the Mee deal to be a permanent deal would benefit all imo...as he'd get games here
StevieLCFC Posted 28 June 2011 Author Posted 28 June 2011 would prefer the Mee deal to be a permanent deal would benefit all imo...as he'd get games here I've heard good things about Duffy, would be great as a back-up. I'd love to see Mee back here..
Marmite Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 I would re sign Mee but not sure about Duffy, I personally think we need some experienced defenders this season if were going to push for promotion. Bring in Sol Cambell
Stevosevic Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 I dont want players on loan, i want pashuuuunnnnn! In all seriousness, i would prefer to see Sven make Vitor a priority if possible.
cc_star Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 the Mee stuff has been mentioned long ago in the Mee thread But Duffy is interesting, have heard he's a very bright prospect Hope Sven's not forgotten about Taft, our England U-19 defender who he awarded a contract to a couple of months ago
accessory Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 Duffy's only 19 Decent as a back-up, but I wouldn't be comfortable with him alongside Bamba or Mee as first choice centre-backs.

Bellend Sebastian Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 Isn't that Keith Duffy..? , Shane Duffy is a centre back who plays for Everton. I'm no expert. I'm more of a Steps man
Libertine Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 Shane Duffy will show no mercy to the strikers of the Championship, get him in. In all seriousness, I've never seen him play.
StevieLCFC Posted 28 June 2011 Author Posted 28 June 2011 Shane Duffy will show no mercy to the strikers of the Championship, get him in. In all seriousness, I've never seen him play. Well I signed him on Footy Manager, so he MUST be good, right?
Libertine Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 Well I signed him on Footy Manager, so he MUST be good, right? Well, well, well... I don't want to rain on your parade or anything, but I fear he may use us as a stepping stone.
StevieLCFC Posted 28 June 2011 Author Posted 28 June 2011 Well, well, well... I don't want to rain on your parade or anything, but I fear he may use us as a stepping stone. Yeah, to, ummm, Warwick Avenue..?
Bellend Sebastian Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 Well, well, well... I don't want to rain on your parade or anything, but I fear he may use us as a stepping stone. We should only sign players that want to play for Leicester City/should only sign players that have heard of Leicester City/should only sign players that can say Leicester City
Libertine Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 Yeah, to, ummm, Warwick Avenue..? This could go on Endlessly.
Fox92 Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 would prefer the Mee deal to be a permanent deal would benefit all imo...as he'd get games here I'd like to see Mee here as well, but I do think he'll get a chance at Manchester City before he moves anywhere, if applicable, on a permanent deal. Although Manchester City sign players, Mancini has given younger players a chance as well, for example, Ryan McGivern who did play a few times last season. I would like to see Mee sign for Leicester, though. Well, well, well... I don't want to rain on your parade or anything, but I fear he may use us as a stepping stone.
Bellend Sebastian Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 She's got a lovely voice but I think her face is slightly too big for her head
Libertine Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 I can only see him being a distant dreamer on the bench if he does come in, to be fair.
Aleksz Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 Duffy has just come back from a life saving operation i think after a training ground injury. My link
