Not saying Gally and Wellens won't feature just will end up as squad players eventually. What a side though, possibly the best squad we have had since MON left.

squibly786 Posted 29 July 2011 Posted 29 July 2011 I, as with everyone else, have my favourites. Can't see Johnson and Fernandes starting the first game, having not been with the squad. The team that I think will start v Cov is: Schmeichel Pantsil Bamba Mills Konchesky Wellens King Danns Vassell Nugent Gallagher with the team, especially the midfield being rotated regularly. If a striker's brought in, then out goes Vassell, and Nugent shipped to the wing of the 4-3-3.

Nick Posted 30 July 2011 Posted 30 July 2011 I have had several goes at arranging the midfield and have now given up - laughing, I simply don't have the information to choose between, Danns and Wellens - I also would like to be playing 4 5 1 with a lone striker - but not necessarily Nugent. It's the most ridiculous headache of depth of squad talent I've ever seen at the club. I'll have a stab but it's a bit like fantasy football!
