I'm also hoping Schlupp will get a small opportunity to show us what he is all about. The rest will be there to provide some quality back up. This team would worry me - we're playing 4 central midfielders here. No width at all. St. Ledger in for Bamba. Konchesky in for Masilela (who hasn't even signed yet). Drop Abe, bring in Gallagher and play him on the right. Then move King forward. Or, alternatively, if we do sign Routledge, I'd be tempted to bring him in and drop either King or Danns.

davieG Posted 24 July 2011 Posted 24 July 2011 We still haven't got someone who looks half decent and comfortable at left CB other than Tunchev and maybe Ball neither of whom have contracts. Not that I've seen either Mills or St Ledger play there for any decent amount but if Sven keeps putting Bamba there he must think he's the best option which leaves me with a lot of concern.

We desperately, desperately need some fire power up front. We won't be getting out of this league without further major investment I'm afraid. £15mill + spent and we're still behind where we were on NP's last day in charge imho.
