Cheers. Going to be another long season for us.

I'd like to take this moment to apologise for an incident at Selhurst Park that occurred at the start of the 2007/08 season. Stuart Green had put you 1-0 up. DJ Campbell scored one of his few goals for the club (

) to equalise, and then Kisnorbo put us ahead with two minutes to go. During the celebrations for the second goal people ended up on different rows, and somehow I ended up with the wooden back of one of the chairs (which had broken off in the melee). After Clinton Morrison equalised with seconds to go a fellow poster on here (Manwell Pablo) decided to take it as punishment to you and your club for having the audacity to keep playing, denying us a win. I helped him smuggle it out and it somehow found it's way to my parent's house, where I believe it still resides.

After your administration last season I felt partially responsible. Maybe that seat was the straw that broke the camel's back? I hope you can accept this humble apology, on behalf of the both of us.

Sky always quote our local media. Sky never get any Palace news right. :dunno:

:giggle: Away fans have been moved to the other side of the stand due to policing costs.

Still cant believe we got four points off you lot.

I can with the very poor defending last season, why we have brought mostly defender's at present :sweating::thumbup:

Palace fans reckon it needs to be 4-5m.

We really have set a benchmark for ourself's paying that much for Mills. Everybody we try and sign from now will cost well over the odds.

I think the price they are looking for is 3m

Signing decent British players with league experience from other clubs in the same division will always be an expensive game. Could be worth it in the long run though, especially with everyone having played/worked with at least one other person at the club already and having more or less a full pre-season together could help us fire on all cylinders early on.

Peltier RB with Clyne RW I fancy...

Said at start of pre season we should get him to replace Naughton. Would be a great signing but i cant see it happening after signing peltier :( Slightly off the subject but when you look at some of the players palace had last season- Danns, Clyne, Ambrose, Zaha its suprising how much they struggled.

I can answer that. Ambrose missed 2 months due to injury and never really got going. Season before he hit 21 goals from midfield.

Including this against Villa

Zaha was rushed into first team football. Scored on his debut but got a bit greedy.

We had a woeful manager in George Burley.

We had just come out of admin and had the left overs in the transfer market.
