MikeyT Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 Schmeichel, oakley, mills, ball, konchesky, johnson, moussa, dyer, gallagher, waghorn, schlupp. Subs:weale, berner, wellens, danns, nugent, fernandes Beat me to it. How rude.
Corky Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 That's a good starting line-up, mixture of first teamers and fringe players.
Libertine Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 Kasper Oakley Mills Ball Konch Gally Johnno Moussa Dyer Wag Schlupp Or 4-3-3 with Dyer up top.
Happy Fox Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 When did Ball become a center back? He can play LCB
Stevosevic Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 Strong, i like it. Steve not even on the bench though?
Narborough_fox Posted 9 August 2011 Author Posted 9 August 2011 Beat me to it. How rude. Gotta love starting a match thread.
Libertine Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 Going by Sven's use of him in pre-season, Schlupp is probably at CB.
Narborough_fox Posted 9 August 2011 Author Posted 9 August 2011 Strong, i like it. Steve not even on the bench though? International duty.
lcfcsnow Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 Strong, i like it. Steve not even on the bench though? Hopefully it means he's off now.
Libertine Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 Howard not been in any of the 2 squads, must be off.
Jimothy Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 Only ever been knocked out of the League Cup in Round 1 once, by Rotherham in 1979-80. Via Foxblogger on twitter Good stat, hope it's not a sign!
1991FOX Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 I make that only 6 out of a possible 7 subs. Surely a youngster could have claimed that spot
Yojoe36 Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 Let's not do a Johnstone's Paint Trophy tonight If anyone remembers
John Matrix Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 Howard not been in any of the 2 squads, must be off. looks that way..guess they don't want to lose value by cup tieng him
Simmo86 Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 4-4-3 I reckon with Gally attacking mid. Decent side that, keeping the big guns on the bench just in case!
Matt Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 Waghorn, Schlupp, and the others who are not considered 'regulars' now this is you're chance. Looking at Waghorn inparticular to prove we don't need a new striker, step up and take your chance. Get your name on the team sheet for Saturday and be the player you were 2 years ago.
Rincewind Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 Not many teams can have eight changes and still have a decent side. Especially in the Championship. Let's hope the team can pay back the faith Sven has in them.
Austin Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 looks that way..guess they don't want to lose value by cup tieng him He's probably going Brighton.
Joe. Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 Big chance for Schlupp tonight, hope he impresses. Looks like he might hopefully be up front too, depending on how him and Waghorn turn out.
