bald reynard Posted 11 August 2011 Posted 11 August 2011 Nothing on the OS (still !) about Pantsil - no squad number on the OS Team page (despite the fact that it's been previously announced he's No 4), no Player Profile, no news about when he might be playing for City, no news about him being away playing for Ghana (everyone else is covered in the OS 'International Roundup'). I'm assuming he's signed, got his Work Permit and should be playing (in place of Peltier) against Reading - but is this a false expectation ? Also when will the OS get the Squad Numbers right for other players - they've still got St Ledger and Ball at 16 - I think St Ledger is No 12 !?
Big Dave Posted 11 August 2011 Posted 11 August 2011 I read somewhere a couple of days ago that he is still sorting out his work permit, so I don't think he is currently eligible. Could be wrong though.

They might also give us an update every so often - but perhaps I'm asking too much of the people employed in the IT Department !

The game was scheduled on Tuesday I think I imagine he will be back in Leicester by now, reports from the Ghana end in newspaper articles state he has got is work permit, the OS as usual although slightly improving is defunct
Petchy Posted 11 August 2011 Posted 11 August 2011 From what I understood, he missed the Cov game because he went to Ghana to make sure his work permit was sorted out for the new season. He hoped to be back in time for that game but found himself travelling back on that day so wasn't with the team. Then with Rotherham, he was in the squad for the cancelled Ghana game. So I think his WP is all sorted out, it's just that in our two competitive matches he hasn't been able to be selected because of other reasons.

Could be wrong but i'm almost certain that someone reported that he had his work permit. However, as i've spent the last month reading these boards more than anything else then it's possible I could have read another post on here!

Well I know the M1 can be slow, but that would take the piss if he was late for work

Oakley (or Abe) again then ! that's what stringer said on tuesday night he could not get upto rotherham in time to play so should be in squard on saturday unless he his not match fit
