I have no idea if you showed up today? Let me tell you if you did'nt overall we were superb.

I think you may be feeling a tad silly in the not too distant future.

If we play like that on most days we will beat anything this division has to offer.

Only some poor refereeing robbed us of all 3 points today.

I have a feeling it won't be long before this team really shows what it can do.

I watched most of it on stream and we are starting to look a much more cohesive unit. Save for the silly arse of a referee, I can see almost all positives from today.

We aren't far away now. By the end of next month, I predict we'll be looking very, very strong.

Kasper was stupid that didnt help, giving the ref an excuse to send him off.

We should have won but we didnt. Sven should take some blame again for failing to have a plan B whether this be a sub or change in formation. Bringing Gallagher on and playing him upfront?! Very bright that was, he cvant run, cant head, hold the ball up or defend well. This would have been a perfect time to have Waghorn, Howard or Dyer on the pitch instead, least they can do something with the ball. Should have shut up shop at 2-0 when the third goal didnt come and there was 15 mins left.

And the defending again wasnt good enough. One highball up in the air, the keeper flaps at it and no one tracks the runner. That wasnt the ref's fault.

But yes, the ref was terrible.

Our players are best performing away!

AND WHY?

Because all youu 15 000 are booooing at home

Away the supporters :chant: and applauds but home boooooooooo

And what does that say too our team? You are not good sooooo booooo but away :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:

So those who follwing Leicester away gave them free tickets for the season and the rest double the entrance and then the can booo if they don´t

get valid for the money! :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:

I completely agree, away from home we've been playing better than at home and that's probably because the boo-boys aren't in presence and so the fans aren't getting on the teams back.

Getting the monkey of the first home win off our backs is vital.

Win on Saturday and go into the international break with three points, before an away fixture where we traditionally do well, and we're cooking with gas.

We have only played two games away in the league.

One against a wank Cov team where we played averagley well, and today where we played well for an hour. 2 games for god sake.

which is also the number of games we've played at home, been booed for any pass that didn't go forward and have been worse performances and results than the away games.

There wasnt any boos at either home game until the final whistle.

The fact whether we play better home or away cant be established after two games each. They werent shite against Reading and Bristol due to the fans they were shite because they just didnt turn up.

The players will know they played well today, and that will breed confidence.

A result against high flying southampton and were off and running.

hmmm, better head down to the hospital and check for tinnitus then because I heard, clear as day, boos and mumbles of discontent from the first minute v brizzle and early within the first half v reading.

Well there wasnt any where I was sitting. If idiots around you decide to boo during the game well thats up to them.

I presume you're joking!

We were never even nearly "superb". We passed the ball better, supported one another admirably, got players into and around the box when we attacked, pressured them into giving us the chance to score two goals and altogether showed a considerable improvement on what has been seen so far this season - for 35 minutes! That's it.

Second half we were no more than a side trying to preserve our lead with unambitious, containing football that finally, helped by other factors, lead to our throwing our advantage - and our ascendancy - away.

And make no mistake, Forest looked a severely limitedl side, just like Coventry. I even mentioned that their reserves team, during my last visit when Holloway was City manager, looked better than today's forest first team so however well you think we played, it won't be anything like as well as we'll need to play against some of the other teams in The Championship.

I cheered as loudly for Sven and the team as anyone today. My cousin was there shouting probably louder than anyone I know. But he, like me, doesn't consider "supporting" to be simply the expression of blind faith. We want the job doing properly. And I won't ever feel "silly" if Sven suddenly starts winning consistently.

Instead I'll feel like lots of other people expressing their concerns after the match today - I'll feel absolutely thrilled just as I felt when our goals went in today.

And when that happens I shall also be happy to give Sven and our players the praise they'll be due.

Six thousand city fans drowned the Forest faithful with their non-stop singing today. And those 6,000 fans had to put up with the pisstaking Forest fans at the end simply because we'd not got the faith to keep pressing the game and seeing the job through, nor the wit to counter their tactical changes.

It wasn't just around me it was a good 70+% of the bloody kop doing it.

more than that i'd say.

i fooked off on 85 minutes, and could hear it outside.

I don't think the fans at home help the team's performances.

Away the fans are more 'with' the team, at hime there's more of an expectancy and only winning will do.

Can we play away every week?

Its not just idiots sitting near Al, they are scattered all over the stadium. There are plenty around me.

Anyway, despite the the amount of games played so far it is quite clear that the majority of the boo boys obviously dont travel well. Unlike Leicester City.

There are far too many city fans it seems that dont understand the fact that when teams come to the KP, they come to win. This is possibly one of the most competitive leagues in europe if not the world. We have performed poor so far at home, that is blatant. But have SOME patience at least! Instant success.......unheard off.

There are far too many posters on here that only come out when something is wrong.

Far far too many....

Get rid of them.

IF we carry on playing 4-4-2 we'll be fine but IF we go back to 4-3-3 then we'll be a mid table team at best...But we were super today, the ref bought the game for them, dirty cheat deserves a suspension

Posted

did anyone see villas-boas' post match interview on MOTD? he makes a big point about the public pressure and expectations getting to the players. he said it was very important to overcome it because it doesnt help.

Shows how low some people standards are if they really think the performance was "superb" today.

Superb Leicester performances that spring to my mind are the 5-2 V Sunderland, the 1-0 win at Old Trafford, the Leeds Champions League side who came here and were 3-0 down at HT.

We improved today and captilised on the oppositions errors but "superb"? - boy the standards are low now.
