MC Prussian Posted 25 August 2011 Posted 25 August 2011 I'm not picky. I admire your spirit, my dear friend Webbo. Once we have completed se procedure, you will be a worsy moderator.
MikeyT Posted 27 August 2011 Posted 27 August 2011 What's worse than the Nazi is all the people moaning about them. There's more moaning topics than anything else, frankly if you don't like the way the forum is run then that's tough because there's just as many if not more that like it, like the tidiness and structure. Oh and by the way this topic was in the wrong forum. I've been having a look through quite a few other forums and Foxestalk is by far the best by a country mile in terms of the things you mentioned above. Just my opinion of course.
DB11 Posted 27 August 2011 Posted 27 August 2011 The last three times someone has referred to "Nazi's running the forum", the posts they were actually referring to were made by people not even running the forum. If you are going to abuse us, at least make sure it's something we've actually done/said. Heil Mark. I got perm banned on another forum for suggesting this. The moderator in question took great offence to being labelled a Nazi and rambled on saying it was disrespectful he hasn't committed war crimes. I think he was probably old... cut a long story short after a few weeks I returned and he'd 'resigned' and left the forum for good.

I'm old and I've been called a Nazi more times than anyone on here and nobody ever got banned for it, not that I like it.
DB11 Posted 28 August 2011 Posted 28 August 2011 Relevance? I'm old and I've been called a Nazi more times than anyone on here and nobody ever got banned for it, not that I like it. Not relevant. Well it might be, as in younger people are more able to laugh off personal jokes. Well age not really more like attitude and personality.
AoWW Posted 28 August 2011 Posted 28 August 2011 Not relevant. Well it might be, as in younger people are more able to laugh off personal jokes. Well age not really more like attitude and personality. It's probably best you stop digging that hole now!
davieG Posted 28 August 2011 Posted 28 August 2011 Not relevant. Well it might be, as in younger people are more able to laugh off personal jokes. Well age not really more like attitude and personality. I've seen plenty of miserable, touchy, tetchy young people around who don't laugh at themselves and plenty of older people who do. You been watch too much Victor Meldrew
Jimmy Posted 29 August 2011 Posted 29 August 2011 Not relevant. Well it might be, as in younger people are more able to laugh off personal jokes. Well age not really more like attitude and personality. tbh its young people that tend to get most "outraged" by things now days, its odd that those that call themselves Liberals seem to want to tell people what jokes they can or can't make or what is/isn't appropriate to call someone
accessory Posted 4 September 2011 Posted 4 September 2011 But folk who label others as Nazis for merely deleting a post (or even just for pointing out spelling/grammar errors within it) are being very disrespectful. They're also incredibly ignorant and trivialising the crimes of the real Nazis.

LilMissFox Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 Why do you need to point out spelling or grammatical errors? its a forum not an English lesson thank you!! Had this issue earlier in a diff topic
Finnegan Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 thank you!! Had this issue earlier in a diff topic There's nothing wrong with your English. You know how to spell "you", "and", "them", "different" and so on. You just opt not to because you're fucking lazy. So don't hide behind "sorry I ain't as clever!" or "sorry I didn't get as good an education!" or whatever other righteous indignation you want to spew because plenty of people with equal (or less) schooling than yourself at least manage to post actual words. And don't get me wrong, I'm all for a bit of slang. It's a football forum not a fucking essayists convention. But don't start being some sodding drama queen just because you were using "txt" abbreviations and someone pointed out that you were, uhmm... using "txt" abbreviations.
Guest Bilo Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 The Mods start every day with a burst of this song.

Must've taken you ages coming up with that dimwit! I use my phone and not every word has to be accurate if I happen to shorten the occasional one or two, when its done unknowingly anyway, So erm f off? and how I text is not "slang" so get your facts right. Oh and if you choose to be a smart arse yes I did put "ya" instead of "you" go have a good cry over it
Nick Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 I'll prepare the fire if somebody else could just pop out and get a stake.
LilMissFox Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 I'll prepare the fire if somebody else could just pop out and get a stake. Careful the grammar police might point out your error!
Nick Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 Careful the grammar police might point out your error! No error.
LilMissFox Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 No error. Seeing as my comment was intended as sarcasm I won't be pointing it out
MC Prussian Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 We can alwez point out errors in people's spelling, even if ser are none. A good moderator is always intrested in improving se overall forum experience.
