Next time just drink a lot of water right after a night out, then when you wake up have a full English certainly really eases the hangover.

i tried that but all those numbers and letters and stuff gave me an even bigger headache

So because my body can handle drink, that makes me a 'div'?

Twat.

No. Not because you can handle a drink, but because you felt the need to boast about it on a thread about hangover cures.

You might as well go to an orphanage and say, "I've got two parents. Both alive and well!"

I would hardly consider my post a 'boast'. I was just stating that I don't get them myself, and made light of it by saying 'Lucky I guess'. That's quite the opposite to what you are trying to say I've done.

If I had come in here and submitted a post full of insults and derogatory statements to those that do have them then your point would have been valid. But it's not.

I actually found the topic enjoying to read throughout, but yet again some members have ruined it by being way too serious and too keen to unleash their inner 'Keyboard Warrior'.

The thread could have been taken either way serious or as a fun thread. I don't mind either. If the original poster did have an hangover he did well sitting in front of a PC to post about it. I wouldn't be able to concentrate long enogh.

Maybe its when you drink the same and dont get hangovers you ought to worry. Then you have a serious drinking problem if your body has given up telling you about it in the morning. anyway try this. :frusty:

Shower, water, pain killers followed by a brisk and painful walk to get the kidneys working again, followed by food - preferably bacon, more water and pain killers.

After that, R.I.P. lol lol

I'm sure I'm not alone in that the last thing I wanna do after a night out is guzzle down a few pints of water. The best thing for me is to keep active. No matter how bad I feel, after about 30 minutes of being out and about I'll perk up, and then just stuff my face for the rest of the day!

- Surfing/Bodyboarding - if by chance you happen to be beside the seaside, works a treat though.

I always drink about a litre of water before bed, if I remember then drink about a litres worth of pure orange juice, just always seems to go down well after a night out.

there's always one div who says this

Agreed! Just means they haven't drank enough ;)

Mate, no need to get the name-calling going. Ironic cos you brought up the 'keyboard warrior' thing.

Chill!

Go chill and get pissed.

Oh please, get your head out your arse! Yeah obviously I don't drink enough then... that's the reason obviously. Genius!!!

And another thing, try reading before posting too. I wasn't the one who got the 'name-calling going'. I love it how people are quick to dish out the insults, then when I defend myself I get told to chill. Hypocrites. :crylaugh:

I was being tongue-in-cheek, hence the ;).

You need to learn to recognise irony and sarcasm in text.

You do actually need some chill-pills.

Ah yeah, I forgot that the tones of irony and sarcasm translate perfectly into text. Oh wait?...

Not really me who's need to be 'chilled' man, it's those on this forum who post with the intent of getting a reaction that should. My original post was light-hearted and in keeping with the tone of the thread previously yet despite this, my words were twisted by others to fit their 'point' of me boasting etc. Then when I reply to them to say what they said was in fact incorrect, others jump on the 'Hey time to stroke my own ego' bandwagon because it's easier than actually reading the posts previous.

I'm all for 'banter', but when half of it on this forum is just completely cringe worthy and, to be frank, not funny, I can't be arsed with it.

As far as I'm concerned, this matters over. I won't be biting again because this was actually a pretty good, fun topic before people felt the need to ruin it by jumping on the said bandwagon. Well done, I guess? :appl:

i know someone that drinks around 16 pints a day. He gets home he has dinner then goes bed about 7pm and sleeps it off. Next day he is ready at 10 am to start again. So as I said in another post there comes a time when your body system gives up. Sometimes he does look ill though but he is the same all the time.

My body is young enough and healthy enough to avoid the hangover. I am the special one.

I did hear drinking pure orange juice before you sleep will help in the curb of the hangover. That and eating fried eggs apparently, but i wouldnt advise cooking when drunk
