Surely they realised before yesterday and could have cancelled it earlier and given him the chance to find somewhere else with longer than 24 hours.??

You can join another club at anytime after the transfer window if you're a free transfer. But nice attempt at a dig at the clubs management.

What difference does it make when he'd have left, he can join another club at any point. Maybe he was being given a chance to prove himself in training and it didn't work out.
