Is It Just Me Who Thinks We're Crap?

Dunno if that's a wind up or not? What has you being a fan for 40 years have to do with your opinion on the current city team? I'm only 20 so can I not have an opinion until I've supported city for 40 years?

Its not been the worst team in the last 5 years, let alone 40. We haven't lost in 5 league games (I think). Its a whole new team, the defense is getting there. Beckford has just joined, he needs to get some sort of partnership with vaz or nuge when fit. Doesn't happen over night.

Passion? You have been every game? Did you close your eyes at the end of the cov game? Did you not see mills and bamba throwing themselves in the way of the ball on sunday? Did you not see fernandes and pantsil after the brighton game? Or kaspers ranting and raving? The way the players hug and high five eachother before each game?

Svens the best manager any second tier team could hope to have. We wouldn't have half the players we have if it wasn't for his influence.

How about you as a fan show some 'passion' in the team rather than moan and consider not turning up to games?

Oh and because I disagree does this make me a 'forum bully'?

The word 'crap' is a bit harsh but fair at the way they are playing. Tomorrow night will tell us how far away we are in a good side. Boro are playing well & this game will test all areas of our side. Comments about Beckford are true, distribution to him on sun was woeful. All set- pieces were shocking. Totally dis- agree about Abe & Wellens as I see these 2 as the engine & the creator of the side. I mentioned last season if Wellens has a poor game then the side struggles. Reason? We rely on him to much to produce the winning ball. Regarding Sven, I'm losing my faith in him big style, his still un-sure of the formation to play & worse the team to pick!! Time to go Sven & let's get a manager who can motivate players & some stability in our squad

Hello Leicester fans,

Look at Forest, now us, back to Forest, now back to Leicester. Sadly, they aren't us, and will never be successful again.

Look down, back up. Where are you? Your watching sky sports news, in your home on Saturday the 28th of April 2012, and you notice Forest are bottom.

Whats in your hand? Back up. Your holding ticket which says "Leicester vs Barcelona. Champions League Final 2014"

Is it just me that's thought Wellens' corners are getting better? He's putting them in quick and flat, and we were extremely unlucky that shit Earnshaw got a fin in the way of Peltiers header.

I agree about the midfield being crap.

However, not necessarily because the individuals are no good but rather the organisation and tactics need working on.

Without a fully functioning midfield the team are always going to struggle. Conversely they look a much better defensive unit of late.

We hope the introduction of Johnson and comeback of Nugent will prove a catalyst to kickstart the season.

A traditional 442 rather than a diamond or 433 would be something I would initially lean towards when a relatively new side has been assembled.

im with you mate....

all we hear is time to gel.....for f sake they train together every bloody day

Erickson.....no plan A..B or C..

ive been every away and home game...and same as you mate...

wheres the passion....if we lost or drew and but ran our bollox off i wouldnt mind.

unfit,lazy and no passions.....

show me the money springs to mind

At the end of the day id rather be in the position the we are in now where we can go up to 6th with a win than the position we were in 3 or 4 years ago, getting relegated! Were unbeaten in 5 I don't know what you can moan about!

Yeh I noted that, we need work on the second ball though if Bamba or Mills win the first header. Problem is its unlikely we're going to score direct from a Wellens corner, due to the style he strikes the ball, although Peltier went might close.

Everyone in the division is shit, thats why we are here, just makes sure you are in the least 2 shittest and we will be ok.

my opinions are my opinions and I read everyones opinion with great interest and am happy to stand corrected, as far as my command of the english language is concerned-it's never held me back nor kept me poor, I stand by my statement that this is the worse team-don't forget taylors misfits were playing against the best footballers in the country at the time, as for our own players we can't even perform against a very average barnsley team for god sake--i'll still be at the riverside to watch us get let down yet again but wonder if my money would be better spent elsewhere!

Fair point. Average would describe the best teams in this league.

So this team is worse than the side who were relegated to the third tier?

Just got in from work.. There have been some fookin weird results tonight! Brighton losing, west ham losing, forest 5-1! lol

A good win tomorrow and we are right back in there...

Nowhere near the worst team and you must know that, so guessing you've had a bad day. Have a lie down 6 points in the next 2 games will bring you back to reality

Cosmos think you need to go to spec savers if you think this is the worst team in 40 years.

We've not had the perfect start that we all hoped for but we've not been poor either. We have a chance of going 6th if we win tommorow and were 5 games unbeaten and the defence is getting better.

Midfield on Sunday wasn't the best theve played but we still created chances and we've had spells of good football which will come.

As for Beckford, he's had 3 games. You can't expect a player to wave a magic wand and start scoring hatricks every game from the first one. I suppose you think Torres is crap to as he hasn't performed so far at Chelsea.

The team I joined last year took me 6 games to get used to there style of play and I finished 2nd top scorer in the league. Yes you may argue he's a professional and gets paid to perform but he's still only human.

If you don't like the way we play then spend your money going to watch Man u and heaven forbid they loose a game as you prob will say Fergie is the worst manager ever and the team can't string one pass together.

Ps. Love you. ( just incase you think I'm bullying you )

cosmos, Still waiting for the answer, who in this league do YOU rate if we are crap?

[/quot

well i guess you've asked me so you can dissect my answer but Middlesborough and Southampton spring to mind-our next two games i think will shape our season, getting back to passion, palace showed desire and passion tonight so did watford-they came back from behind to win, that's the sort of passion we had back in the walshie and keith weller days that we're just not seeing, i know games change seasons and in a weeks time i might be eating humble pie but i'm expecting tomorrow and saturday to finally drive home how low our expectations have sunk since sven took over-there'll still be the ones who say time to gel, give him time etc etc but to my mind nothing less than 6 points will do
