RonnieTodger Posted 30 September 2011 Posted 30 September 2011 I bought my shirt in July and bit by bit after every wash, the king power sponsor has peeled away and is now all but gone, bar the "K" symbol at the top. 90% of the time it was washed at 30 degrees but one or two 40 degrees washes shouldn't do the harm it has done. Would they take it back or re-print the sponsor? Has anybody had or known anyone with a similar problem? Thanks
HangerLCFC Posted 30 September 2011 Posted 30 September 2011 Yeah take it back to the shop and they should give you a new shirt
RonnieTodger Posted 30 September 2011 Author Posted 30 September 2011 Even at this late after it was bought? Problem is, I've got BECKFORD 20, on the back of the shirt so I might have to pay for that again.

Spiritwalker Posted 30 September 2011 Posted 30 September 2011 I bought mine in July and told the wife to wash it carefully after reading the negative comments about the quality. It now reads ING OWER. Piss poor really for £40. I'm undecided whether to take it back or just peel the rest off.
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 30 September 2011 Posted 30 September 2011 did you need a receipt?? I just said i brought it online and then they swapped it, easy

Raw Dykes Posted 30 September 2011 Posted 30 September 2011 Just get iron transfers for F ' & ! F'ING POWER! I like it! Sounds like the name of a Pantera album.
Dabizas Posted 1 October 2011 Posted 1 October 2011 Same happened to a mate, took it back and got different name on the back all be it for same value but pretty good service!
Jace Posted 1 October 2011 Posted 1 October 2011 this has happened to so many shirts it would probably just be easier for the owners to change the name of their company and stadium to ING POWE
maynefox Posted 1 October 2011 Posted 1 October 2011 This is happening to mine aswel, its slowly peeling off by every wash...
Mack Posted 1 October 2011 Posted 1 October 2011 For this exact reason I have not bought one and wont buy one until I hear it's fixed. And there is no excuse for this, these far east factories have been making these kits with all sorts of detail for years and for all the major manufacturers. Unless the club has been applying the sponsor detail themselves?
Foxes1 Posted 1 October 2011 Posted 1 October 2011 I saw Bernie in a King Power shirt the other week letters don't seem to be peeling of his, I wonder why. Sorry no prizes for the correct answer.

Unless the club has been applying the sponsor detail themselves? I believe they do apply the sponsor themselves, I went in to the megastore after college on Wednesday and the workers were just unpacking boxes of some new away shirts all of which were blank bar the club badge and burrda logo, makes sense considering they offer to reprint the sponsor. On a side note the away shirt looks great Without a sponsor
Foxy Bingo Posted 1 October 2011 Posted 1 October 2011 I took mine back before the game today with the same problem. They let me swap it and re printed the nationality fox thing on the new shirt free
LoughboroughFox Posted 17 October 2011 Posted 17 October 2011 Is the same thing happening with the white shirts? my second blue shirt now going the way as the 1st, if it is, il have my money back.
RonnieTodger Posted 17 October 2011 Author Posted 17 October 2011 I forgot to mention, I've taken it back and they exchanged it for a brand new one, really good service. But I'm not sure how to close the thread
Narborough_fox Posted 17 October 2011 Posted 17 October 2011 Is the same thing happening with the white shirts? my second blue shirt now going the way as the 1st, if it is, il have my money back. No they print the white one differently which means it doesn't peel. The ones in recent weeks have been printed the same way which means it shouldn't peel.
tricky85 Posted 18 October 2011 Posted 18 October 2011 Is the same thing happening with the white shirts? my second blue shirt now going the way as the 1st, if it is, il have my money back. Yeah it does. The r peeled on mine. I got mine in July n after a bit of arguing they did a straight swap
