Pearson is (maybe) signing

Let's not forget in all this, just how humiliating this must be for Hull City fans.

:crylaugh: :crylaugh: :crylaugh:

lol

They got so Billy Big Bollocks as well when he signed for them.

Irony's a bastard isn't it maulers?

Micky Adams was better. He actually SAVED the club in 02-03.

The best Pearson can manage this season is the playoffs, and we should all remember how he bottled them last time..

Omfg I can't believe you think Adams is better than Pearson. Made me smile at least. :)

So if when NP comes back.. is promotion the target THIS year??? what happens if we fail ??

Of course it is, if we fail he will get sacked, I cannot see the owners giving a full season although I would hope they do.

They did with Sven.

I think circumstances will be different this time round, anyway we can still get promoted this season we only need 50-60 points from 30 games to guarantee a playoff spot or at best the second automatic slot.

As long as we're close I can't see them sacking him. They'll look at his personal record at the end of the year and judge I'm sure.

Promotion is still the agenda though, the Thais will not accept anything less, NP must know this surely that his job will be in question if he doesn't get us into the playoffs at the very minimum

Long as the form is good this season if we just miss out he will start nxt season.

Just as SGE did and had we beat brizzel reading and brum Sge would still be here.

So i would expect NP to get the same.

Obviously. Hardly going to be sacked if we're a point short in 7th though. Though you never know these days.

Agreed. Barring a disastrous campaign between now and the end of the season I think he'll get a crack next season. Hopefully they are starting to realise that sacking managers every five minutes is not the way forward.

Exactly I worry to think that the Thais will be trigger happy, NP wouldn't have taken the job I would have thought if we knew the challenges with it demanding owners who expect us to be promoted this season.

Am I the only person who suspects that the reason Pearson wants permission to speak to Leicester so he can walk into the boardroom and moon the board before walking out again?

No your not, while I would welcome Pearson back it has crossed my mind that he is more than capable of entering into drawn out negociations only to then go "nah not interested you should never have got rid" and then laughing about it all the way back to East Yorks!

No, he'll take it then resign the next day. He's cleared it all with Hull. thumbsup.gif

we havent even appointed anyone yet and we are thinking about sacking them think thats probley the reason why leicester city have struggled the last few seasons, we need to appoint a championship experienced manager and if we get promoted you have to have faith in that manager,,,,,

i hope we dont keep getting rid of managers after a year in charge look at how man utd have done it and that is the way it is done stick with your managers.

Give them time tbh sven was never right for this league but now we have made a change we need the right man in and to stick to that man. we need a 3 year plan to be a pl club and build from there

SSN still says we are expected to make a new approach o hull to speak to NP, I thought I seen somewhere that he had been in Leicester today with family and was in talks???
