Kitchandro Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 Smith. God, can you imagine Young on Fifa? Hilarious. Oh yeh 'Lee Danns scores for the Tigers, oh wait it's been disallowed because his hair is dangerous'
John Matrix Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 only get this impression because we have probably the biggest rugby club in the world. steady on pal.
BlueSi13 Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 Both are rugby cities. Behave, the Leicestershire/Nottingham Tigers have never had a strong support from the CITY of Leicester. Rugby Union remains an irrelevance to the city and the country as a whole.
BlueSi13 Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 Bullsh!t. City crowd yesterday - 27 720 Tigers crowd on Saturday - 20 479 (and 80 per cent of those were from outside Leicester) Plus remember that this is the "Manchester United of Rugby Union" I also wonder what their attendance would be if they were a mid-table second division side like we are right now.
ajthefox Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 Bullsh!t. City crowd yesterday - 27 720 Tigers crowd on Saturday - 20 479 (and 80 per cent of those were from outside Leicester) Pot, kettle, black.
JuddLCFC Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 Rosenior can shove it, Leicester have better players than Hull!
Oh tommy wright Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 Personally I could not care less how big or small our club is. We are about the similar size as forest and derby. Bigger than most in the championship smaller than most in the premier. So what! Let's not get into a sad discussion on club size. Hate rugby, never liked it, don't care about it, never wore a wax jacket, never had a cushion on my seat, can't stand Tiger beer, could never sit next to an away fan. Don't really like to talk about Tigers at all. Got no mates who support them. Would disown my kids if they ever supported them. Couldn't care if they got bigger or smaller crowds than us. Not really a sport anyway. Please don't rise to sad people like Rosenior. We are Leicester City, might not be the biggest, definitely not the smallest, but is simply the BEST club in the world! Because we say so!
Icelandicfox Posted 7 November 2011 Author Posted 7 November 2011 It's not flattering because we are in the same league and below them? Haha... Surely if a manager is being linked with a job anywhere, if it's in a higher league or the same it is flattering! It means they must be doing a good job!! What a dumbass!! I don't care whether we think our club is bigger than hull or not, it's irrelevant!! But sounds quite disrespectful by him saying it's not flattering... I hope we take their manager now for the sake of it! That was all I was saying..... I found it quite disrespectful.
BCFCAndrew Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 the kid is nothing more then an arrogant little pr*ck and always was when he played for us. I'd take what this little nob jockey says with a pinch of salt
Trav Le Bleu Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 I tell you a deluded tool, my marshmellow screwdriver!
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 Bullsh!t. City crowd yesterday - 27 720 Tigers crowd on Saturday - 20 479 (and 80 per cent of those were from outside Leicester) BULLSHIT. How can you say that 80% came from outside Leicester? Source?
BlueSi13 Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 BULLSHIT. How can you say that 80% came from outside Leicester? Source? Speak to most Tigers "fans" and they are mostly from Market Harborough, Rutland, Nottingham or someplace that is nowhere near the heart of the city. In all my time living and growing up here i haven't met a single die-hard rugby/Tigers fan....rugby city my arse.
foxfanazer Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 Rosenior has to get some stick when we play hull. We've got Pearson, we've got Pearson, you've not youve not
purpleronnie Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 Bullsh!t. City crowd yesterday - 27 720 Tigers crowd on Saturday - 20 479 (and 80 per cent of those were from outside Leicester)
The Year Of The Fox Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 Speak to most Tigers "fans" and they are mostly from Market Harborough, Rutland, Nottingham or someplace that is nowhere near the heart of the city. In all my time living and growing up here i haven't met a single die-hard rugby/Tigers fan....rugby city my arse. So you're saying anyone living outside of leicester aren't real city fans either Yeh? I know plenty of people from Market Harbro who are city fans. Though I agree with you when talking about Tigers fans from nottingham. How could someone feasibly support forest AND the Tigers? Back to the point, the only people who seem to think we are a big club are our fans themselves! We're not a big club, its embarassing when someone thinks otherwise. Having said that neither are Hull. Sky are bound to publicise his comments because Hull have been in the Premiership more recently than us. As we are all aware, Sky created football didn't they? A rambling post, but no we're not a big club, n neither are they.

lcfc_sam_p Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 I live in market harborough, I'll hand my season ticket back now
John Matrix Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 went to see tigers at the start of the season. when they did some comp at half time and were asking the tigers fans where they had come from it was unreal. if memory serves correct out of the 8 people interviewed one person was actually from Leicester.
Oh tommy wright Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 I live in market harborough, I'll hand my season ticket back now Too right support your local team (how are M.H doing?) you glory hunter.
liamsm Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 Naive if anything, Not many people understand the kind of power we have a Leicester. Financially we are the most powerful team in the league, Historically we are amongst the top few. Hull are neither. I think you might find that Bristol city are lot wealthier that us MD worth 750m his buisness partner who is also on their board worth over 500m
acooling08 Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 Isn't he the one who snapped Cunningham's leg?
Jimothy Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 I think you might find that Bristol city are lot wealthier that us MD worth 750m his buisness partner who is also on their board worth over 500m Doesn't mean much if you can't/you're not willing to spend it. They might be minted but how much of that is ploughed into Bristol City, whereas our owner seem happy to back the club financially.
