Bob Weasel Fox Posted 22 November 2011 Posted 22 November 2011 Cov this season... just because we beat them in their empty car show room (other than the 7000 leicester fans) This
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 22 November 2011 Posted 22 November 2011 Huddersfield away 3 seasons ago in Div 1 was also good (3-2 win with a jammy late Dyer goal)
woddyuk Posted 22 November 2011 Posted 22 November 2011 Walsall in League One was a cracking night. Snow fight! yeah ,,more away fans than home fans,,,great win and brilliant cleverley goal bloody freezing night and the stewards didntknow what to do when snowball fight started at full time.
woddyuk Posted 22 November 2011 Posted 22 November 2011 Orient League 1 took my lad aged 5 1/2 at the time,, got sunburn,, in the pic on lcfc website lloyds goal ,,and after game he is on my shoulders singing "3-1 in your garden shed" (my lad, not lloyd ) on the way back to the tube station. fortuantly even the O fans were laughing... Southend League 1 Millwall League 1 Posh 2009-10 Coventry 2002-03 West Ham this season was decent too.
RonnieTodger Posted 22 November 2011 Posted 22 November 2011 Leeds in the Carling Cup last season or Coventry (despite being in the midst of a stand off in Tesco) this year as I've only been going to regular away games in the last 3 years.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 22 November 2011 Posted 22 November 2011 Villa away in the mid 90's when we came back from 4-1 down to draw 4-4. I was sat in the Villa main stand for that one so i didnt enjoy the atmosphere so much Man Utd away in the cup a few years ago when we took around 10'000 ish i think . . . . .but lost 5-1 Walsall away also as others have put was good
bluearmyfox23 Posted 22 November 2011 Posted 22 November 2011 Man City in the cup last season was quality This
AndyBrew Posted 22 November 2011 Posted 22 November 2011 I remember going down to London in the early nineties to see us play charlton at upton park, fantastic day out, we lost 2-0 I think, but I'll never forget the Leicester supporters running on the pitch before the game with a massive inflatable football passing it between them from our end all the way to the other scoring a memorable goal to rapturous applause right in front of the charlton support and large contingent of ICF looking very unimpressed !!
absolutelegend Posted 22 November 2011 Posted 22 November 2011 Preston a couple of seasons back was class
Kitchandro Posted 22 November 2011 Posted 22 November 2011 Preston when we sealed a place in the play-offs. The culmination of a great 2 seasons, not just on the pitch, but amongst the fans as well. The feel-good factor was everywhere. Also thought Scunny in league one was great, and Cov this year deserves a mention.
Karljohn Posted 22 November 2011 Posted 22 November 2011 Villa away in the first premier season under MON, won 3-1 and Muzzy dove into the crowd as the third went in after a great solo run. Watford away again Muzzy scoring the winner to sneak a play off place, 6000 and about 500 Fez's Wimbledon at Selhurst for the league cup semi final Cardiff in the play offs 2009 for the sheer emotional rollercoaster Southend 2-1 on a hot summers day in essex after being 1 down with 3 minutes to go, mayhem!

Remember it well, we took 10000 down and didnt turn up on the pitch, think Gary Mills missed a penalty, a week before the infamous Newcastle riot at Filbert St when Walshy scored at both ends in the space of 5 minutes.
AndyBrew Posted 22 November 2011 Posted 22 November 2011 Remember it well, we took 10000 down and didnt turn up on the pitch, think Gary Mills missed a penalty, a week before the infamous Newcastle riot at Filbert St when Walshy scored at both ends in the space of 5 minutes. Yes that's the one, the newcastle game was the first game I took my brother to, think he was 13 at the time, when we got back to the car he had pockets full of coins he'd collected from the generous Geordies !! Oh this depresses me football used to be bloody fantastic!
woddyuk Posted 22 November 2011 Posted 22 November 2011 Cheltenham.. a nice, smooth trip, nice little ground and a 4-0 away win I have been to many away games and enjoyed them all. Ok, some of the results and performances may have been bad, but I like to make a day of it - away games are always fantastic!! The only place where I have thought I never want to come back is Burnley. AGREE ,,what I remember about that game was going toilet and having to say excuse me to the linesman to get past,,walking alongside the pitch as game was in play and had to wait for a player to take a throw in ,,on my way back to my seat. . ALso copper behind goal clapping 2 of our goals ,, see the dvd hes on that too,
smallpauldj Posted 22 November 2011 Posted 22 November 2011 Mine was Scunthorpe from league 1 mainly for the pub next to the ground and when the door staff stopped letting in people I was letting Leicester fans in through the window like many have pointed out that was just the perfect season. I enjoyed hereford to
Swalker Posted 22 November 2011 Posted 22 November 2011 Southend when we got promoted from league 1. The paddling pool that was going around the city fans was quality
Oh tommy wright Posted 22 November 2011 Posted 22 November 2011 Sad I know, but Notts County ZDS cup. Little's first season. Pissing down, freezing cold, extra time winner bt Paul Fitzpatrick I think. 7000 of us in the open end partying like we had just won the world cup. Lost to Forest in the next round.
Walshy5 Posted 22 November 2011 Posted 22 November 2011 Id never want to go back down but had some great away days in league 1. Favourites being Millwall, Scunny, Hereford. Couldn't make Southend unfortunately. As for others Barnsley away under Holloway and last season and when we beat preston 1-0 to confirm a play-off place.
FoxesAreBlue Posted 22 November 2011 Posted 22 November 2011 Man City in the cup last season was quality This
bluearmyfox23 Posted 22 November 2011 Posted 22 November 2011 Either manchester city - cup , Peterborough 2 years ago in the league or scunny away past 2 years all great atmosphere and also a great day out !!
Filberts Treat Posted 23 November 2011 Posted 23 November 2011 Anyone go Sheff Wed away in the league cup when we lost 7-1? City fans celebrating Wednesday's 6th and 7th goals. Then when we scored our goal it was like we'd won the fa cup!
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 23 November 2011 Posted 23 November 2011 Leeds last season, was my only away game win and my first time i had seen city win live only took 9 games.
