Me and mi mates then went to the Isle of Wight after the game for the rest of the weekend and got very mullered. Right laff and we got home somehow Other than that... Blackburn away when Rooster Russell scored past a hapless Bobby Mimms. Great atmosphere that day

I was paraletic on the way down there in the minibus because of the night before. Don't know how I got into the ground and then managed to stand for 90 mins. Think we got home about midnight in the end. Wthout doubt that was the best trip ive ever been on' Chelsea away was good.

Malinki Posted 22 November 2011 Posted 22 November 2011 Man City, in all that fookin rain around 1995, major delays getting to the ground and just inside as we scored , a near post Mark Robins header and we held on to win 1-0, was a great atmosphere between the City fans that evening and probably just due to the events surrounding it my fav away night as a City fan bar the playoff/league cup games

Ok, some of the results and performances may have been bad, but I like to make a day of it - away games are always fantastic!! The only place where I have thought I never want to come back is Burnley.

Great game, incredible celebrations and all leicester packing out Papilion at 3am with old bill replacing bouncers on the doors singing was magic. Preston was brilliant last season and Ipswich in the snow easily the funniest weekend I've ever been involved in with the football.

They finished 1 place below us so it was an epic game, and i was just a kid on my first big match into london. I remember the journey back up the motorway, and it seemed every car had a scarf out the rear window. City till i die ;-)
