ibbosuk Posted 29 November 2011 Posted 29 November 2011 ((IF)) we buy the right player's in the Jan window, the top 2 is still possible. But for now nice to be back in the top 6.....
Corky Posted 29 November 2011 Posted 29 November 2011 I do believe that it was a psychological thing, I don't know how many times we could've got into the top six and failed to. We've done it now, not achieved anything yet obviously but the players may feel a weight off their shoulders.
Jace Posted 29 November 2011 Posted 29 November 2011 don't curse it Damn too late he's cursed it just checked the table on the OS and it says we are 9th again
peterborofox Posted 29 November 2011 Posted 29 November 2011 Just need to win 2 in a row now! Will happen on Saturday.
Kitchandro Posted 29 November 2011 Posted 29 November 2011 I do believe that it was a psychological thing, I don't know how many times we could've got into the top six and failed to. We've done it now, not achieved anything yet obviously but the players may feel a weight off their shoulders. It was psychoogical in terms of after we won a game we didn't push on in the next one. We couldn't string 2 decent performances together because we only played to our best and gave 100% when the pressure was on, i.e after a defeat or a draw. The pressure is always on under Nigel so you won't get us turning up for games thinking that's all we have to do to win. As for last season, we bottled it after the Cardiff defeat, it took us too long to pick ourselves up after that.
fadedfox Posted 30 November 2011 Posted 30 November 2011 For gods sake we can win all the games we have but if Southampton and West Ham do aswell it means sweet FA!
Happy Fox Posted 30 November 2011 Posted 30 November 2011 For gods sake we can win all the games we have but if Southampton and West Ham do aswell it means sweet FA! By that logic we would beat Southampton and West Ham if we won all our games so don't see your point.
Fox92 Posted 30 November 2011 Posted 30 November 2011 Just need to win 2 in a row now! Agreed. The whole team needs to be consistant now and push on.
