I'm from Corby I've never lived in Leicester nor has anyone I know.

I support Leicester because my dad does.

There's a few hundred Leicester fans in Corby.

After Man U, Liverpool, Celtic and Rangers, Leicester are the next

best supported team.

Leicester born and bred but not lived there for 10 years - spent 5 in Leeds and the last 5 in various Northants villages. Absence makes the heart grow fonder and all that.

AUSTRALIA! Iv come all the way to Leicester on my holidays just to support the city... back to paradise and school come the end of the season though :(

DENMARK - supported since very young - dad from Leicester so it just stuck. Been over a few times for matches at Filbo and Walkers - always a thrill. "Watch" every single match on the net and a win makes my weekend - a loss the opposite!! :scarf:

I used to teach at a big secondary school in Corby - the Celtic / Rangers following is unbelievable isn't it? I remember there being a parent's evening on the same night the Old Firm met in a cup game - there was about 9 Grandmas there and that was it!

are all leicester fans from leicester, or do we have a few in northamptonshire and lincolnshire! just thinking this because you wouldn't support northampton town tbh! so do they support there nearest good football team! and you wouldn't choose to support lincoln city! because there shite too!

I was born in Lincolnshire. If my parents weren't both Leicester fans I probably would have been a Lincoln fan, enjoying my time in the conference.

York fox, don't know how many others in the area besides me and my old man. See a few shirts every now and again...

Up The Foxes

Really?! Whereabouts in York are you from?

Got a season ticket and get to most games and see a fair few Leicester fans get on the train at Sheffield. It was a nightmare getting the train back after the Leeds game.

Never lived in Leicester, have my uncle to thank for getting me hooked!

I'm not sure enjoying would be the right word to be honest Alex.

Poor old Imps are having a nightmare at the moment.

I was born and bred in Leicester myself but I do follow my local team up here; Grimsby Town Football Club. Good win for the Mariners last night.

I know, right? I tried to console my mates at the beginning of the season with our relegation stories, coupled with their experience in 1988. Fail.

Thinking about it, I've had more Lincoln season tickets than Leicester ones lol

7-0 wasn't it? After a lucky win over the mighty Poppies on Saturday!

Corby is turning into a decent little town now, getting shitloads of council investment!

Beats Kettering hands down! (even though thats not hard)

I live in Cradley Heath in the Black Country amongst West Brom and Wolves fans. I lived in Stourbridge last year and a few years back I lived in Sheffield.

I am Leicester born and bred though. I miss going into town, Bradgate Park and getting the Leicester Mercury.

It's never crossed my mind to support any team other than Leicester even though I've not lived their much in the last 10 years.

I've got a season ticket and each home game is a 1 1/2 hour trip.

Wouldn't miss it for the world though.

I want to know how many people can beat a 5/6 hour round trip! There must be someone madder than me.

I can't imagine how awful it'd be to lose a FL place and then make an absolute horlicks of it against Forest Green and Alfreton.

Reading some of the Grimsby fans' reviews of their 5-0 defeat to Braintree really puts some of our shit away performances into perspective I can tell you.

Weird thing was that some on Grimsby's forum were expecting them to tonk Kettering because of the number of players leaving the club and struggle against Stockport.

On a further note, the pictures of Nene Park with Kettering's slogans all over it are bizarre.

You're not wrong there, my housemate from uni is from Corby and there's a fair bit to commend the place now. Nothing like the place that was regularly listed in the Crap Towns book a few years back.

Belgian fox right here... aunt supported Leicester and threatened me into supporting them saying that I could never return to her house if I didn't... when I was very young of course.

I dually obliged as she got me into it and took me to a few games and have supported them wholeheartedly ever since. :):scarf:

Too right. I often go there with my father in law and it's bizarre to see. There's also a really strange atmosphere there right now as there's a number of Diamonds fans who still want their Saturday fix and but can't bring themselves to support the old enemy but go down anyway. Factor in that a lot of Kettering fans object to having 'home' games in a rival town and it's like Poppies are always playing away. Their results suggest as much.

I think most fans would switch back to the old Rocky Road ground in a heartbeat.

Mine's a 5 hour round trip.

Quite a few from Kettering/Corby - my family are from Kettering (as am I), and have always supported them.

The two towns are quite a big catchment area for the club actually - strange the club itself has never really tried to promote more in the area.
