On the piss in London.. Mills sent off again? Straight red? Who did he bring down?

Let's hope there's no trades unionists reading this but it sounds like a pity Jeremy Clarkson's not commenting on what to do with the referee and linesman!

I suppose technology might show that they were right after all but when I look at what goes unpunished in the box week in and week out it doesn't sound as if the penalty could be anything dreadful and, as for the offside against Nugent, well from everything said it sounds ridiciulous.

That said way before we went behind it sounded as if we'd reverted to the kind of approach we can expect away from home when the opposition is likely to be anything half-decent.

We didn't seem to press the ball of show any sort of positive intent at all. Did we even have a single shot on target. No - Pearson demonstrated once again the very reasons i see no point in travelling to away games and reminded me of similar times when we hardly had an attack never mind scored a goal.

Now we're down to 10 men any point would be an achievement and welcome. Pearson will doubtless return a hero even with a draw. But underneath it's clear the bloke won't ever change. He'll always be the ultimate cautious professional when there's any pressure.

As for the Danns experiment. If commentary can be trusted the bloke sounds like a liability. Roll on the transfer window.

And you come to this conclusion from the radio. There is another team playing and they gave not an inch of room to our players.

Same old Thracian, forget the last three games and lets focus on one half of football, of which we spent a fair bit down to 10 men.

Beckford off and St. Ledger on.

i read the first sentence, notice there's a wall of text, glance to the left, realise it's thracian and skip. served me well so far.

Made a great tackle, the ball was running through to Kasper but he flicked his foot and caught their players. You could say they were never going to score so it was harsh, but it was an idiotic thing to do.

....

Great running by Konch, down to 10 men and getting into the box really well.

We're playing good football, it breaks down as Hull are very industrious & up for it as you'd expect, but we've rarely is ever just lofted the ball forward (now that Mills is off anyway)

Danns has never been anything above rubbish, really can't see how he supposedly did so well at Palace the guy could fall over his own feet, he may have a use coming off the bench as a high energy player in the last 10mins, like he's looked fractionally better doing the past 2 games, but he's a million miles away from being a 1st eleven payer

As Pearson hadn't really witnessed his previous efforts, I can understand why he tried him considering a couple of good sub appearances.

I've only seen bits of Danns on sky televised games, away at W HAM and a few streams - but I haven't been impressed with him at all.

Would agree based on that limited evidence that in an ideal world, I'd prefer Gallagher in the side, if he'd just gain a bit more consistency. It would be fine playing 5s and 6s out of 10 with the occasional 8 and 9, but Gallagher seems to go 3,5,2,9,9,3,2,2,3,2

Straight red is 3 match ban.... Again!! Step up Ledge!!

WRONG, it aint violent conduct so it should only be a 1 match ban

Agreed, Danns needs to be subbed. Poor first half and so far shocking second half, he's yards off the pace. No wonder he's got a good engine, he needs it to get himself out of trouble so often.

Personally would like to see Gallagher on.

I actually think Gallagher will do a job now.

Well, certain player's are being shown up for their worth in this game though i do not rate Danns anyway after seeing him put in some very average performances.
