psychonaut Posted 3 December 2011 Posted 3 December 2011 Bad tactical moves by NP, brought on the pressure this was almost inevitable. Bad performance too.
mancunianfox Posted 3 December 2011 Posted 3 December 2011 Typical, Pearson has a hell of a lot of work to do. Not really. Just drop Mills and we won't have to play so many games with ten men.
Dabizas Posted 3 December 2011 Posted 3 December 2011 And that's what negative tactics bring. Should have definately left bamba at the back on his own and gone for it! No probly would have been worse
The People's Hero Posted 3 December 2011 Posted 3 December 2011 Always hard with 10 men. I was pretty proud of the effort, not that I necessarily agreed with the strategy. Ultimately, we defended very well but needed to see players like Wellens and King stand up to be counted, which I don't feel they did.
topharry123 Posted 3 December 2011 Posted 3 December 2011 useless we defend solidly for the best part of an hour then give their most dangerous player too much time and space on the edge of the box with 3 to go.
acooling08 Posted 3 December 2011 Posted 3 December 2011 I agree, it was poor from Pearson to put Gallagher up front and take Nugent off.
Matt Posted 3 December 2011 Posted 3 December 2011 FFS, can't really make any comment as I have only been able to listen to the last 10-15 mins, but I am very angry.
Bryn Posted 3 December 2011 Posted 3 December 2011 What can you do? Bring on next week, Hull were absolute toilet and will sit about 11th for the rest of the season.
Kitchandro Posted 3 December 2011 Posted 3 December 2011 I think Pearson's made some mistakes today but I blame Mills, cost us again big time by being stupid.
cc_star Posted 3 December 2011 Posted 3 December 2011 And that's what negative tactics bring. Too many players off form again Danns puzzingly unbelievably shit Wellens losing posession more than usual beckford got shit kicked out of him & no protection from ref nugent tired tbf, they've played with super-human effort as they want to get one over their old manager... and errrm we've had 10 men for about 80% of the match away from home against a reasonable team who have particular reason to play way above themselves, or did you miss that bit.
Babylon Posted 3 December 2011 Posted 3 December 2011 And that's what negative tactics bring. Is that all you do moan about Pearson? We've had 10 men for a large part of the game FFS, Let's make judgements on games we've actually played with the same number of men shall we.
The People's Hero Posted 3 December 2011 Posted 3 December 2011 What can you do? Bring on next week, Hull were absolute toilet and will sit about 11th for the rest of the season. Certainly agree with that.
mancunianfox Posted 3 December 2011 Posted 3 December 2011 What can you do? Bring on next week, Hull were absolute toilet and will sit about 11th for the rest of the season. Pretty much this. I don't know why everyone is being such a drama queen over an away game in which we had ten men for two thirds of it.
z-layrex Posted 3 December 2011 Posted 3 December 2011 At the end of the day, Hull is a shit club in a shit town with a shit future. Just a bump in the road for us, this is their cup final and could only win it with a red card.
Guest Bilo Posted 3 December 2011 Posted 3 December 2011 Are they actually singing 'you should have stayed at a big club' to Pearson? lol lol lol
Kitchandro Posted 3 December 2011 Posted 3 December 2011 Why are we in stoppage time and only 3 players in a forward position when Kasper launches it? Pathetic.
FoxInWales Posted 3 December 2011 Posted 3 December 2011 Hard luck lads, tried hard but let down by your captain
ithuriel Posted 3 December 2011 Posted 3 December 2011 Maybe it is good that Nigel see's just how much work is needed and that certain player's really are not good enough.
