Finnegan Posted 22 December 2011 Posted 22 December 2011 Modest? Hah. You take every opportunity to cram your opinion down people's throats, don't pretend you're any different to I purely because you do it with a little more placid, moral-superiority and somewhat less blunt force (I'm missing a trick, here, maybe I need a Finners blog. Some sort of Charlie Brooker meets Charlie Manson affair.) The boy could well be ill and he could just as easily be a moping prima donna. None of us know and none of us can really tell, regardless of whether or not we've read the shit he posts on some social networking site (I know, by the way - though I fear the start of some pissing contest here - very few depressives who choose to air their ill feeling all over Facebook and Twitter over bottling it up and dealing with it, or not, privately.) I imagine it's very tough being a footballer of his generation in the modern era. There's a hell of a lot of pressure and expectation on the lad, not to mention money and power that exceeds his age. That and he's been torn up and uprooted numerous times in his adolescence and thrust from club to club, it must be hard. But that should be enough, alone, to give the lad a bit of sympathy and to stop making aggressive statements about how he needs to **** off if he doesn't have the right attitude, etc, without having to invent conditions for him. Forgive my tone, it's early, I'm tired and I'm tetchy. I'm just fed up of hearing OH PERHAPS HES DEPRESSED every five minutes on here, it's fast becoming a buzzword and a hell of a trendy prognosis.
Itsthejoeker Posted 22 December 2011 Posted 22 December 2011 Maybe he doesn't want to play football anymore?
Danny the Fox 95 Posted 22 December 2011 Posted 22 December 2011 Stupid bellend. The things he has said on twitter I can't actually believe! Just release the twat now, then he won't be on my twitter feed complaining the whole time  Its funny because he thinks he's something special but when you see he has already been at 6 clubs and he's only 18, the only record he could break is Trevor Benjamin's record for having the most clubs as a player! :xmaslaugh:

Babylon Posted 22 December 2011 Posted 22 December 2011 Well he's right about the reserve league, but it's hardly a shock he's going to get kicked out with that attitude. First year pro joining a club spending millions and expecting games.... yeah right!
Tielemans63 Posted 22 December 2011 Posted 22 December 2011 Said tonight "not having a reserve league has killed young pro's and at least Sven had us involved more" Does anyone else think that, aside from the dummy-spitting & toy throwing, he actually makes a great point here? EDIT: Babylon already has already spotted that!

Tielemans63 Posted 22 December 2011 Posted 22 December 2011 Did someone say Pearson mentioned bringing back the reserves on the phone in? I'm not sure, I hope that is the case though - it would be healthy for the club to have a reserve side. Now we are financially stable it makes sense to reintroduce one and have young players and reserves playing regularly.

Here Finners I'm not sure we're disagreeing here, and I not shoving my opinion down anyone's throat. If it comes across that way then apologies, having a dig about the blog though, really? What's that got to do with this conversation? I'm just saying the other extreme of saying he's a tosser and should pish off, is wrong, and I tried to clarify the reasons why, rather than just make bold statements as a few others have that's all. I wasn't having a go nor attacking anyone, if it reads that way, then that's not my intention. Justification of an opinion in any sort of detail might well come across as arrogant or intending to be superior, but if people disagree with my humble assessment that's fine, I don't expect everyone to do so Finners, but I've not gone about disrespectig anyone, so once more if you feel I've felt I was aiming some sort of verbage at you then, apologies I wasn't.

flowwolf Posted 22 December 2011 Posted 22 December 2011 For fvck sake none of you even know him but due to your obvious higher education you feel you can read his mind and have him down as a depressive ( just because you are ) For all you know he could be reading this and pissing himself laughing. You right on bleeding heart brigade actually make me feel depressed with you moralizing holier than thou attitudes.
LCFC_Kraken Posted 22 December 2011 Posted 22 December 2011 He's pretty much gone. "Another chapter I'm my life comes to n end!! Enjoyed my time at Leicester but hey life's goes on! I'll inform my followers my next step soon"
Jace Posted 22 December 2011 Posted 22 December 2011 Best of luck in your future endeavours Jason Banton, sounds like the kid has talent will no doubt come back and haunt us 1 day

Jace Posted 22 December 2011 Posted 22 December 2011 Or, as a footballer, pale into insignificance. na no chance as a footballer no ex city player will ever prove us wrong on the pitch
Guest MattP Posted 22 December 2011 Posted 22 December 2011 Best of luck in your future endeavours Jason Banton, sounds like the kid has talent will no doubt come back and haunt us 1 day Or like most of the twats who behave like this, end up at Hinckley Town.
Jace Posted 22 December 2011 Posted 22 December 2011 Or like most of the twats who behave like this, end up at Hinckley Town. Apparently he's on his way down Landon, Croydon Athletic maybe?
SemperEadem Posted 23 December 2011 Posted 23 December 2011 Some of his tweets saying he is off to America.
Narborough_fox Posted 23 December 2011 Posted 23 December 2011 I keep thinking this says Joseph Barton. Show's how much I know about the lad.
MikeyT Posted 23 December 2011 Posted 23 December 2011 Fourth_Official Fourth Official Former Liverpool and Blackburn youngster Jason Banton has been released by Leicester City #LCFC
Toffee_Fox Posted 23 December 2011 Posted 23 December 2011 He tells me him and the club came to a "mutual agreement" to depart with each others services. Seems about right considering the atmosphere between the two. Signed for a MLS team.
bluearmyfox23 Posted 23 December 2011 Posted 23 December 2011 MLS really ? This kid really just wants everything to go his way money and a great lifestyle !! Toffee fox do u know what team he has signed for ?
