Sean St Ledger to ?

I think he should stay for all concerned, as much as I love Bamba I dont see how ANY manager could drop SSL after his last few performances, if he keeps this going he will be a first team regular IMO

Maybe Bamba playing in midfield would create the opening as well, although SSL should be in the starting eleven on his own merits anyway!

keep the boy 2 clean sheets and i think mills looks more composed with him next to him

100% agreed! Bambi takes risks but SSL is no nonsense and actually plays the ball out. Him and Mills are a true example of ying and yang.

I don't know about you lot, but if clubs come in for Sol, I won't mind, he has thrilled us with his silk, but Mills and St.Ledger offer much more stability and to be honest, anything over £2 mill for him, then we are laughing! Obviously he will need replacing with a back up!

Daily Mail saying NP has told Beckford he can leave, he also wants to get rid of either Matt Mills or SSL and bring in Cardiffs Anthony Gerrard...surely not?

Wouldn't rule this out esp if Blackburn lose samba

I agree that Nigel needed a bit of a clear out, but 3 players who are beginning to show why we bought them?! If he gets rid of too many players with such nonchalance (I particularly dislike the suggestion he doesn't care which centre back goes), only to replace them with new players we'll start playing like a team of strangers again. SSL was nothing short of superb last night.
