smudger63 Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 The thing with gallacher is, he doesn`t have good games, but has good moments in games.
lcfcliam Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 The abuse Gally gets on here is absolutely pathetic, what annoyed me so much about some of our moronic fans were the cheers of him going off but everybody singing for Beckford to come on? I'm sorry but Beckford would never and clearly didn't change the game in any way shape or form. GET OFF GALLY'S BACK!
Callabinho Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 Him and Wellens are not shit! Our team spirit is, when we play well players like gally and Wellens play well, our whole team is deflated at the moment, gally has proven in the past he isn't shit! How about saying Wellens and gally need a confidence boost! Because they sure need it
Koke Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 Shocking player. Im surprised nobody has mentioned the fact that being 6'1 tall, he can't win a header to save his life. Iain Hume was 5 foot nothing and he won aerial battles against giant defenders. He scores the odd superb free kick and then go missing in the next 10 games. Those 2 screamers v Palace virtually guaranteed him a spot in the starting line up for the next ten games. If we are to progress then we need better players than this joker.
Dan Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 Can never put my finger on Gallagher. He goes through stages where he's very good and the majority of the time, when he's very bad. It seems to me when we're winning he's excellent, when we're not, he's awful. A complete and utter luxury if you like. Too many games with him it's like having 10 men, I've always really wanted him to succeed here in all honesty but the fact is his all-round game is League One at best and even his dead balls are turning shit. The most worrying thing about Gallagher for me is the fact that I'd still pick him on the wing because we have literally no one else.
Fox92 Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 Leave him alone , I just think hes having a bad patch of form , theres so many other players in the squad who are playing poor and play poor 90% of the time, and Gallagher has done well over the years as a Leicester player and this season he aint done bad either , ok he has made a few mistakes recently but he has scored some important goals for us this season so I think we should just get off his back The abuse Gally gets on here is absolutely pathetic, what annoyed me so much about some of our moronic fans were the cheers of him going off but everybody singing for Beckford to come on? I'm sorry but Beckford would never and clearly didn't change the game in any way shape or form. GET OFF GALLY'S BACK! No. When will you understand he earns a lot of money, I bet he is on at least 8k a week or something around that, and he offers nothing. He doesn't tackle, he doesn't win a header, he lacks pace so he cannot beat players, his set pieces never beat the first man, he doesn't score enough goals and worst of all he doesn't even try! We would give anything to play for Leicester, but Gallagher just wonders around that pitch like a non-trying animal. When Paul Gallagher plays it is like we are playing with 10 men. I am fed up with his one good game in ten and you are telling us to "get off of his back". Seriously, I just hope we can get a new winger in to replace him because he is one of the most annoying, frustrating and overrated Leicester City players I have ever watched. And to say he wears our number 7, the same number as what the likes of Keith Weller and Neil Lennon had, is horrible to see.

So the fans singing for Beckford makes sense when he's been even more woeful? Beckford has been far worse in the area's I've put in bold yet he doesn't as much abuse, it is simply " he doesn't get the right service" my arse! He has had far too many games now and he is just not good enough.

What does Beckford have to do with this? This thread is about that ****ing pansy that is Paul Gallagher.

Why cheer when Gallagher goes off but sing Beckford's name? Why not sing Gallagher's name?
Burbage Fox Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 So why the fvck don't we do this with Gallagher then!!!!!!! Why cheer when Gallagher goes off but sing Beckford's name? Why not sing Gallagher's name? He has had his chances he plays well 1 in every 6 games and spends more time throwing his arms up in the air... He is not a team player and the fact that his missus spends more time tweeting than anything else slagging off anyone who dare to criticise her precious hubby is just another reason to dislike him! Flog/give him away to anyone who will have the over rated ponce!OTT I know but I am really frustrated by it all at the minute
Ely fox Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 We need players who are going to graft and can't afford too many luxury players in the team. There are not enough players who will put their body on the line in this current team. Why that is i'm not sure. I just think that there are too many players who don't appear to have to fight for their place .. Gally, King, Wellens ...... But who is there to replace them at the moment as i think Abe is a waste of space?

He has had far too many games now and he is just not good enough. Doesn't matter if he has been more woeful. Gallagher has been woeful for most of this season, and if fans want to see him substituted for Beckford then fair play. And I do think he gets abuse because people sat near me boo him, which is bad. But, you have turned this around to Beckford. This thread was about Gallagher, a player who has had too many games and is not good enough. Yes, Beckford hasn't been good enough, but Gallagher hasn't either. You cannot have a go at one player and then defend the other who has been just as bad.

I know mate I totally agree I'm not turning this around to Beckford I'm simply justifying that our fans cannot have a go at Gallagher and cheer for somebody who has been twice as bad but this season has anybody been outstanding other than Schmeichel and Konchesky?

I know where you are coming from, but I just feel they have both been bad. Then again, I think only a small number of players have been consistant and can take something out of this season so far... Schmeichel, Konchesky and Nugent?

Maybe Peltier too but his form has dropped lately, we need a massive turn a round somehow, starting tomorrow
Targetman Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 He's shit. As people have said a luxury player I'd rather have a hard worker who gives 100% every week than him
