Lambert09 Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 I think that every fox feels the same right now...we have hit rock bottom for the season and have lost all hope and have doubts in nearly every player in our squad. However, Im going to be controversial and say that our current situation could actually work in our favor. Most teams in the league are going to write us off as contenders, that usually means that games against us people will try and win and would see taking a point as a negative result. I fully back Nigel Pearson and think he will be the man to sort this lot out. There have been teams come from far worse situations to make the play-offs and we have the advantage of being in this awful situation during January. I think we have a talented squad that just needs to find the right style to suit the individuals. If we can get the best out of Nugent, King, Beckford, Danns and Mills i honestly think we with have a great squad.....they have all proven to be key parts of teams in the past....one or 2 signings (WINGERS) and they could be enough to boost the players confidence and get the belief back in the team. I felt we had 10 players who expected to loose on Sat. All these.....the fans are shit.....blah blah player is shit.... the board are shit...the manager is shit threads are making me loose hope. FOXES NEVER QUIT.....bout time we all stuck by the motto instead of giving up by January.
FuriousFox46 Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 We will finish 11th. I would have said 10th again but that's far too consistent for us.
Happy Fox Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 The Great Escape from Relegation, that what we need.
Lambert09 Posted 16 January 2012 Author Posted 16 January 2012 I dont see how we can predict where we will finish until 1st of Feb....players change teams
FuriousFox46 Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 I dont see how we can predict where we will finish until 1st of Feb....players change teams People predicted we'd win the league in June. What's the difference?
Lambert09 Posted 16 January 2012 Author Posted 16 January 2012 Also a mugs game....which our position proves haha
THEFATBASTARD Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 If these players avoid the drop, they should be rewarded with massive bonuses..Its only right..
Guest Col city fan Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 The Great Escape from Relegation, that what we need. Thats not too far from the mark Happy. Continue in this vein and its gonna be a struggle make no mistake about that. However, I reckon we will stay up, Nige will keep his job, and will have a major clear-out in the summer.
Guest Basildon Fox Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 It has a similar feel to the MON Sheff Utd game, where things came to a head. The difference then though is we had a team full of people with the bollocks to stand up and be counted. Where is our Lennon equivilant or a proper play maker like Parker? Who can we get to revitalise a poor team like Izzett? Lets face it we won't go down thanks to the fact that there are several teams that are worse than us but there will be no late charge for the play offs because we are simply not good enough and have too many players who lack the balls for a scrap.
Fox92 Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 All these.....the fans are shit.....blah blah player is shit.... the board are shit...the manager is shit threads are making me loose hope. That's only because team's performance is making us all loose hope.
Kitchandro Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 I do like the positivity but lets be honest, the players haven't got the fight for it. Neither have we, if we're being fair. The majority of fans have given up and the players and management are now extremely unpopular. It will take a massive improvement to get people believing again. If we can get the best out of Nugent, King, Beckford, Danns and Mills i honestly think we with have a great squad The thing is, if we haven't got the 'best' out of them yet why will we from now on? And maybe we have seen their best, and they're just not very good?
RonnieTodger Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 To be honest I wouldn't mind staying up on the last day. Would add a bit of excitement. AS LONG AS WE STAY UP THIS TIME. Honestly though, we won't be involved in a relegation fight.

Back-to-back wins, however unlikely that seems at the moment, would completely change the belief among both players and supporters.
