The boy has the potential to make a real difference for us this season. As others have said reminds me of the last LCFC player I actually was happy to pay money to watch - Tom Cleverley. Drinkwater has got the lot. My only concern is we don't put too much pressure on him right away to perform like last nite everyweek. We've got to be mindfull as fans not to put to much pressure on him straight away. Well done Danny Drinkwater and pat on the back to Nigel Pearson and Steve Walsh great first signing more of the same please.

ramadaone Posted 24 January 2012 Posted 24 January 2012 Absolute top class At Manure they thought he was going to be the next Paul Scholes when he was younger and you can see why Centre midfield his is position and if that means Wellens or Danns have to make way then so be it - not a fan of either of them but DD's signing seems to have had the desired effect work rate wise so can't see NP changing a winning side anyway

I think he'll go for the latter, but can see the merits of the former.

He's dripping with class and he didn't bottle any challenge. Pour old Barnsley, now they've lost their best player,we'll sea them sink without trace. He's a future city star err..board etc etc.
