The 2011 award contenders will be shown by Max and Helen on the hit Sky Sports programme on Saturday morning along with details on how you can vote for your favourite. Surely they scored a better goal than that! That's so sad. If he wins, they will probably boast how goal of the year came against Nigel Pearson & Leicester City.

I don't rate the bloke either, but that second one against Palace was one of the best goals I've ever seen. We actually had a very strong year in terms of quality of goal - both goals at Pride Park were brilliant, as was Nugent's at home to Derby in October.
