lovelcfc Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 So big game this one middlesbrough losing to cov last week you would have never thought so were easily capable of winning this one with the way were playing at the moment we could win this 2-0 3-0 but knowing city they will make hard work of it im going for 1-0 win with danns scoring and we need to keep the same team
Jace Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 Could easily be a win kept a clean sheet away from home earlier on in the season when they were playing at their best but could we really win 4 games in a row? I couldn't put money on it!
Happy Fox Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 Delfouneso and Drinkwater will add a fresh injection into the team I expect both of them to start the game.
Libertine Dream Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 Can't see us conceding at the moment and theyre not the best going forward, theyll also be without two midfielders who got sent off at Cov. I'll say another 2-0
FrankieADZ Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 Cant see there being any major changes in the starting line up. Looking forward to the game.
MboroFox Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 Hi all, i live near middlesbrough and work there but i am from leicester, i am actually down for this game and really think we will beat them. I work with alot of boro fans and there really nervous about this game. They not playing well and do have some big players out.... I must say i hate the place and i am coming back home this year.
lcfcbaby Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 I saw Middlesbrough vs Peterborough a few weeks ago and whilst they drew Middlesbrough were on top the whole game. They appeared to be very good on the ball but they don't seem to create chances. With the form we are on I can't se us conceding. Although losing to Coventry the other week has got to have a negative impact on their confidence so hopefully we can continue our run of form!
Nick Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 Hopefully MON's Sunderland will tire them all out today.
MANFACE Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 It will be a blood, sweat and tears game. Being up north cold and wet, ball going all over the place. Howard to get a headed goal.
MboroFox Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 A boro friend who is going down to watch them, bought his ticket last wednesday and they had only sold 150 tickets so our crowd could play a big part on the night aswell.
dpjfox Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 i suspect Drinkwater will come in for Gally and Delfounso for Beckford if hes injured, they have a couple suspended and hopefully still tired from todays game, weve got to keep up the pressure/and good form, we will concede a goal eventually but i think we can see these off
MANFACE Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 That's a point, Drinkwater didn't play yesterday ? Good solid player.
SaM 12 Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 It will be a blood, sweat and tears game. Being up north cold and wet, ball going all over the place. Howard to get a headed goal. it's at home
Leicester_Loyal Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 It will be a blood, sweat and tears game. Being up north cold and wet, ball going all over the place. Howard to get a headed goal. The match is at home. And Drinkwater was cup tied yesterday, so couldn't play.
Libertine Dream Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 A boro friend who is going down to watch them, bought his ticket last wednesday and they had only sold 150 tickets so our crowd could play a big part on the night aswell. It just means the atmosphere will be more awful than awful unless we win 5-0.
MANFACE Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 The match is at home. And Drinkwater was cup tied yesterday, so couldn't play. Opps sorry, beer head. it's at home Opps sorry, Beer head.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 We need to carry on this little run as long as possible to try and stay unbeaten for a while to close the gap on the play-offs
lcfcbaby Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 Middlesbrough lost their last three championship matches!
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 If Coventry can beat them then so can we I would keep the same team apart from Drinkwater in for Gallagher I'm going for 3-0 to us and I hope St. Ledger gets a goal!
EnderbyFox Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 Drinkwater in for Wellens and Delfounso in for Gallagher in my opinion Don't think Wellens will be up for completing two 90 mins in a week
MboroFox Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 You never know we could also have some more new signings in by tuesday so we could be in an even better position. Fingers crossed
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 You never know we could also have some more new signings in by tuesday so we could be in an even better position. Fingers crossed Could do but I reckon if we do they will be on the bench. Never change a winning side, especially one who has not conceded in 3 games and in those 3 games scored 8 goals
MboroFox Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 I agree especially with the defense, but i was thinking more along the lines of more options on the wing. with drinkwater in the middle
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 I agree especially with the defense, but i was thinking more along the lines of more options on the wing. with drinkwater in the middle Well on Monday Drinkwater player good on the wing, I think if we do get a winger in then Gallagher will be on the bench and so he should be!
burni Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 kasper pelts mills ledger kenn drinkwater wellens danns dyer beckford nugent bench: logan, cotteril, delf, kon, tunch im sure we will sign a winger so i got cotteril on the bench and i think kon may need a rest, i dont think kennerdy would weaken the team as hes a good player so i think he should get a start. i think delf to come on for nug or beckford (whoevers struggling the most) and the winger to come on and danns or wellens to go off giving them a rest with drinkwater moving into cm. i think its going to be an even game hoping we can nick it! need some more of that clinical finishing from beckford
