cc_star Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 Subs: Fonz, Kennedy, Howard, Wellens, Morgan Areas of concern... Gally cut in a lot to support the midfield duo, this also allows Peltier to overlap, we could be over-ran if Marshall doesn't do the same & Peltier will have nowhere to run We've only seen a flash of Drinkwater should Wellens stay in and we keep a winning team together & those on the outside have to wait to seize their chance. Beckford needs to come up with the goals in the league, his strike rate is so far below appalling it's unfunny A tough game, but not as tough as going away to the league leaders who have scored the most goals at home & conceded the 2nd least... with a squad hit by injuries. We can do this, but we need to keep the mentality that has seen us win the last few games, we need to battle to get first to the ball, we need to battle to get infront of our man to receive a pass & we need to chase lost causes, it's all in the mentality... if we continue to get that right, our ability should shine through. A tentative 2-1

Simmo86 Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 What a statement ..........Pathetic !! I was half joking but still think Drinkwater and Danns will offer much more for the team

A tentative 2-1 This team picks itself and I think what the majority of fans want to see but whether we get it is another matter! This team has pace, youth and bags of energy with the only downside perhaps being less physical strength and grit but if we pass the ball well and use the extra energy and pace to hassle them and get in their faces, then I can see this being a very good starting 11 for us, plus with Marshall hopefully delivering that extra quality to the front two, goals hopefully will come too!! Really hope we see this exact 11 tonight as like i said, it's what people want to see!
Kawwaah Kawwaah Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 I think we will scrape a win tonight but i dont think even that will really put us back in the promotion race. However if we win this and can manage to beat Brighton at the weekend, then i feel we really would back in buisness!
FoxyMusic Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 What is the point in changing a team that has won 3 games in a row? Should be the same 11 as the last 3 games. Subs should be Logan, Morgan, Drinkwater, Morgan, Delfouneso

(it's fair to say i'm a sporadic attendee due to work commitments and the fact that I used to play Semi-pro football so my saturdays were mostly taken up!!)...........tonight is my 3rd match this season...........probably about my 17th or 18th overall...........i'm hoping to break that particular record tonight!!!
