Guest Col city fan Posted 31 January 2012 Posted 31 January 2012 Again! Where's the right wing man? We've seen too much playing players in their wrong positions. Although, less so under Pearson than under Svennis C'mon Nige pull yer finger out... Right winger needed! Ah.. Marshall..thank-you Nige
blueblood88 Posted 31 January 2012 Posted 31 January 2012 Schmeichel Peltier Mills St Ledger Konchesky Marshall Drinkwater Danns Dyer Beckford Nugent Going for a 2-0 win, Beckford and Nugent with the goals
MboroFox Posted 31 January 2012 Posted 31 January 2012 In the local press up here it looks like luke steel will be fit to face us,
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 31 January 2012 Posted 31 January 2012 I really hope Drinkwater doesn't end having to play on the wing. Would be a real shame if Wellens gets in ahead of him in the middle. Agree Wellens deserves a break and we need Drinkwater TO PLAY HIS POSITION! CM Creative interplay passing in the middle not the wing! Why? Wellens is doing good, no need to rest him as the team should be fit
Brooksy Posted 31 January 2012 Posted 31 January 2012 Bring in Marshall for Gallagher. Wouldn't normally change a winning side but Gallaghers been crap recently so lets see what Marshall can do.
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 31 January 2012 Posted 31 January 2012 With Beckford maybe not being fit what would you all do, knowing that Pearson keeps a winning team would you.. Play Drinkwater or Marshall on the wing with Gallagher up front or put Gallagher on the wing with Delfouneso up front. I hope we will drop Gallagher and if Beckford needs a rest due to the knock picked up on saturday play Drinkwater or Marshall on the wing with Delfouneso but I highly doubt Pearson will drop him due to the reason he doesn't like changing a winning team.
Libertine Dream Posted 31 January 2012 Posted 31 January 2012 Still think we will win tomorrow but think we're struggling to get in play offs, not good enough in midfield and still need another striker, an okay January but should have been better.
Stevosevic Posted 31 January 2012 Posted 31 January 2012 3 of the teams currently in play-offs are catchable, if we win tomorrow night.
Wherethefoxhat? Posted 31 January 2012 Posted 31 January 2012 Still think we will win tomorrow but think we're struggling to get in play offs, not good enough in midfield and still need another striker, an okay January but should have been better. Thats it .....positivity after the new signings and recent performances !!!
Basingstoke Fox Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 Could prove to be a big game. If Boro win, they go 10 points clear of us and make the playoffs much harder to achieve, if we win, we're 4 points off and could put ourselves back in the mix. It will be interesting to see. Come on you blues!
Nick Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 We pretty much need to win six out of our next ten to give us a chance.
Bettsy82 Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 Realistically it's next season for us but we are only 4 points off the play offs if we win tonight.
jonlcfc1990 Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 Hoping we can take the current run of form and go in confident at home tonight. No 4-5-1 let put an attacking outfit out and go for it. We have nothing to lose now we might as well just play every game well and support 100%
ozleicester Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 Love a "Must win" game.. and this is one for sure. a messy and unpleasant 1-0 to us
jonlcfc1990 Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 Love a "Must win" game.. and this is one for sure. a messy and unpleasant 1-0 to us Every game is a "must win" but regardless the pressure isn't on us as most people have already counted us out. Yeah they say we're "in form" winning three games isn't form yet. We need a good performance not a messy one the pressure is on them if we set a marker down early and implement our game we will win this one well
jonlcfc1990 Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 Is Marshall available for tonights game? If it was completed early he is. I think it's 5pm or Mid day? Not sure when he signed though
foxfanazer Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 Leicester are evens to beat boro tonight are mark jarvis. Well tempted to put £50 on us. What dya reckon?
FrankieADZ Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 If it was completed early he is. I think it's 5pm or Mid day? Not sure when he signed though i thought it was midday yesterday; given that he trained with us yesterday I'd have guessed he might well be available.
jonlcfc1990 Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 I know that Boro's Goalkeeper is injured sooooo i'm hoping he's fit! and eligible
marbelladave Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 Tonights game is going to be pivotal....... Win and we can really start to believe in our form, loose and the bubble will burst and that could really be the end of our season......... The transfer window was ok in my view, a couple of good players likely to start and some back up, strengthening without tearing the team apart and having to rebuild. If (a big if) we are going to take a run at the playoffs we do not have the time to integrate a whole bunch of new players, however good they might be, we need to keep winning. As I said, tonight is the big one, I'm nervous already.........
Ric Flair Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 Huge game for us tonight. We haven't won a home league game since November and we haven't had back to back wins in the league all season. It also presents us with one of the last realistic chances of getting back in to the play-off chasing pack. A win tonight and it makes things interesting, a draw or a defeat and it's a huge ask for us to still make it. Whatever happens for the rest of the season, I just want us to have a right good go at it. Play some good football, never give up and make our fans proud of our team again. We've had little to get excited about on the pitch since Pearson was here the last time so he needs to recreate that in the next 19 games otherwise we'll be back to square one. I hope Beckford shakes off his injury problems and starts tonight, he needs to continue his current form. I'm unsure on whether to break up the Danns/Wellens partnership at the minute, in which case i'd bring Drinkwater in for Gallagher and either have Marshall in for Dyer or have him on the bench tonight. Wes Morgan surely can't start ahead of St Ledger or Mills just yet, not until we at least concede a goal. Schmeichel Peltier Mills St Ledger Konchesky Drinkwater Danns Wellens Dyer Nugent Beckford Subs: Delfouneso, Marshall, Morgan, Logan, Hopper

It would've been too disruptive bringing in 5/6 faces at this stage, especially when NP has started to get the best out of the players already here. Really excited about Marshall and drinkwater and I'm sure Morgan can do a job, albeit as a back up player. I'm nervous too but I really think we will win tonight. Come on Leicester!!
