ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 9 February 2012 Posted 9 February 2012 Well according to Norfolk police we are "high-risk" away fans. I'd like to know where this has come from...
Babylon Posted 9 February 2012 Posted 9 February 2012 I'd like to know where this has come from... Their arse, because that's what they are talking out of.
ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 9 February 2012 Author Posted 9 February 2012 Their arse, because that's what they are talking out of. the fact they've said this is gonna cause more problems
stockyfox Posted 9 February 2012 Posted 9 February 2012 If that is the opinion of the Norfolk police, then they should also say why. Living in Stockport, I go to most of the all-too-few away games we get in the North West and West Yorkshire. My opinion of Leicester City’s ‘away’ support is this: There is always a big following of fans, irrespective of day, night or location which is limited only by the allocation of tickets from the home Club. Foxes fans are very vocal and noisy and make their presence heard Foxes fans are very loyal, knowledgeable, appreciative and very fair. Foxes fans will enjoy a friendly banter with the ‘home’ crowd if appropriate like ‘It’s all gone quiet over there!’ etc. Foxes fans will loudly boo any player or official who is so deserving of such treatment because of reckless tackles, poor decisions etc. or for other reasons like Mattock at Sheffield! Foxes fans are great company and bear no malice towards anyone whoever they support. Foxes fans are NOT trouble makers and although there will very occasionally be an individual or two who goes too far, to imply that all Foxes fans are ‘high-risk’ is a gross insult. I suggest that the Norfolk police contact their counterparts in Greater Manchester, Burnley, Blackpool, Sheffield, Barnsley, Doncaster and round the country and I think they would be pleasantly surprised!
1964FOX Posted 9 February 2012 Posted 9 February 2012 So here's the truth then and it looks like Norfolk Police are the driving factor, obviously all football fans are thugs. I'm absolutely disgusted with the decision. http://www.pinkun.co..._city_1_1203694 I'm even thinking of applying to Norfolk Police to carry out a peaceful protest before the game depends on support.
eye666 Posted 9 February 2012 Posted 9 February 2012 Quote from that article: "but there was serious trouble after the game at Leicester in 2008, with nine Norwich supporters and two Leicester fans jailed after a city centre rampage." We're the hooligans eh? Bloody idiots.

We're the hooligans eh? Bloody idiots. What. NINE NORWICH SUPPORTERS. Hmmm. Wankers.
ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 9 February 2012 Author Posted 9 February 2012 well lets **** them over and get to the quarters.. that'll teach em
ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 9 February 2012 Author Posted 9 February 2012 quote from their forum Most clubs would agree immediately on the allocation as they would probably not sell out as we will
Babylon Posted 9 February 2012 Posted 9 February 2012 Reading ones of their forums they seem to think there is a problem with segregation. With no provisions in the ground to be able to seperate that many fans without shutting down a whole stand virtually. Dunno how true that is.
Sods Posted 9 February 2012 Posted 9 February 2012 What makes me laugh is that the so called High Risk fans that we have may decide to still travel to Norwich but now without a ticket? If they did think we had High Risk fans I believe they would rather know exactly where these supporters were. Also police have just built up tension now on any further games in future, which most had probably forgot or couldnt give a **** about.
samlcfc1 Posted 9 February 2012 Posted 9 February 2012 I'm in the baby Squad youth we are deffinatly high-risk were a proper nawty outfit..... BS for life !
Blueasafox Posted 9 February 2012 Posted 9 February 2012 could secretly be a police money saving thing... less coppers needed at the game the more they save, call me a cynic but budgets are tight in this present climate I bet theres something in this
Yojoe36 Posted 9 February 2012 Posted 9 February 2012 Concern over segregation may also have been a factor in the decision. A 4,000 allocation for Leicester would have taken up half the Jarrold Stand, also forcing the Canaries to move some of their 22,000 season ticket-holders from their usual seats. BOOO FVCKING HOOO!!! Biggest load of shit I've ever heard. Fvck off Norwich, this shows you're small time. Tossers
ajthefox Posted 9 February 2012 Posted 9 February 2012 Absolute joke. As Corky pointed out, we took 8000 to Forest, our rivals, and their police force managed it fine. How on earth can Norwich get away with this I don't know.
allotment-fox Posted 9 February 2012 Posted 9 February 2012 they want to look at most major city's on a Friday / Saturday nite always kicks off in Nottingham / Brum. They are just finding excuses I was talking to policeman at Portsmouth before the game and he told me they rated the game low risk do they talk to each other it's a scam

SemperEadem Posted 9 February 2012 Posted 9 February 2012 It will have something to do with the fights in town with their lot the season we went down to league 1.
Milton Keynes Fox Posted 9 February 2012 Posted 9 February 2012 Might as well act like we're high risk then

Noticed minor 'disturbances' at these games last season. But nothing to warrant lowering our allocation!
