Recommended Posts

Well according to Norfolk police we are "high-risk" away fans. I'd like to know where this has come from...

Cos we is proper hard innit.

I e-mailed Norfolk Police just to get some views and reasons mid-week, still no reply yet, despite getting an automated message saying they normally read and reply within 4 hours, can't blame them though, they must be having crisis meetings and planning the tactical stratagys how to combat our high risk fans.

Hi Matt

Where did you get 4 hours from? I've now been waiting over 48 hours! (See #51 - page3)

They'll be busy figuring out where to put the speed traps on the A47 on Saturday. :/

Oh sorry, when I posted I claimed they normally read and replied within 4 hours, I was wrong claiming they said replied but they should read within 4 hours - Therefore why not reply within the 4 hours?

Anyway this is the Automated message I recieved;

"Norfolk Constadbulary Autoreply - PLEASE DO NOT REPLY TO THIS MESSAGE

In case of emergency please ring 999.

Our Contact & Dispatch Centre monitors incoming messages every four hours.

Thank you for contacting Norfolk Constabulary.

And here's my reply from the FA following my complaint.

Dear Gary

Thank you for contacting The Football Association.

The FA has been advised by both the Norfolk Police and the local Safety Advisory Group and it has been agreed to allow Norwich City to offer less than the required 15% away allocation.

Kind regards

Implies Norwich had the final say, and could have still offered us the full allocation if they'd wanted to.

Freedom of Information request?

I had the same thought on Friday, (and was bored with work), and contacted the council for a copy of the minutes. I'm guessing it's public domain info. They have contacted me to say that they are still trying to find them as they don't appear to have gone online yet.

I'm in two minds really, I don't want it to kick off because it will look bad on LCFC and they will have their point proved, on the other hand really hope it does kick off.

I kinda hope there are LOADS of LCFC fans in the Norwich sections and Leicester score and our fans in those sections celebrate leading it to kick off then the Safety Advisory, Local Police, and NCFC just look stupid in the fact they have to take blame for causing the situation - despite that still looking bad on LCFC.

The blame would still be on our fans, police and SAGs can do no wrong. We're all just thugs.

Thinking about it if we are that bad fans we are lucky it isnt a lunchtime kick off as well!

Not only that but i have heard on advice from safety groups, the Police and NC officials, Leicester are to start with only 8 players and no substitutes and Norwich will have an 11-0 headstart as the risk of our fans getting excited and kicking off is too great
