scottthefox Posted 24 February 2012 Posted 24 February 2012 Woke up with a massive headache this morning. I'm blaming the noise we created last night, as well as the amount of beer consumed woooooaaaaaahhhhhhh!!!,
paddy Agyemang Posted 24 February 2012 Posted 24 February 2012 If we turn up everyweek and sing like we have done in recent games, we could be as loud and as good as Leeds away from home
General Smuts Posted 24 February 2012 Posted 24 February 2012 It's all very well us being loud away from home against rivals but where's that same level of noise at home to Barnsley or Doncaster?
Guest Col city fan Posted 24 February 2012 Posted 24 February 2012 It's all very well us being loud away from home against rivals but where's that same level of noise at home to Barnsley or Doncaster? Its simple I think.. The fans that go to away games go to 'be loud'.. The home fans are generally a different breed and are happy to sit on their arses, not make a peep and just watch the game.. ( and often moan whilst doing so).. Tis a shame but I think it's true.. Although the new chant has improved things at home... Because everyone can join in

Because everyone can join in New chants more fun and a better "showing of support" This means Flags Scarves horns Colours the Scarves are so visual that even when the family stand aren't "loud" nearly all of them wave their scarves and it looks great. Our support has been good for years but this year we've had numbers at every game especially away we have followed our club amazingly well this season and we should all be proud of this
jonlcfc1990 Posted 24 February 2012 Posted 24 February 2012 New chant? I was referring to "we love you"
FuriousFox46 Posted 24 February 2012 Posted 24 February 2012 One Derby fan said on the way out "What was that stupid fvcking scarf thing? Fester cvnts." Sssssssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Tommeh Posted 24 February 2012 Posted 24 February 2012 Once again showing a fellow east midlands side how to support your club. I think even they were embarrased when they sang to us, "is that all you take away" funniest thing i have EVER heard in a football ground.

I presume hope that was an ironic joke
RGFox Posted 24 February 2012 Posted 24 February 2012 quality sound from the blue army last night!!!! Top stuff
Mission Unlikely Promotion Posted 24 February 2012 Posted 24 February 2012 Listened to a bit on the radio on the way home and our fans sounded great again
Criggers Posted 24 February 2012 Posted 24 February 2012 Cracked me up last night watching on tele web the commentator said something along the lines of "Derby always have good vocal support of around 25,000 at home" (something like that) at which point all you could hear on the tv was the Blue Army singing LOUD! We're the fans singing the We Love You chant pre match as well? I swear I could hear it in the background of NP's pre match interview...
wellyfox Posted 24 February 2012 Posted 24 February 2012 Thats right our fans are so great. How long ago was Barnsley??
Guest Col city fan Posted 24 February 2012 Posted 24 February 2012 Thats right our fans are so great. How long ago was Barnsley?? As I said earlier.. The away support is usually ( and really has been for years) better than the home support. IMO our away support has been nothing short of amazing this season.. Particularly given the ridiculous season we've had.
Dan Posted 24 February 2012 Posted 24 February 2012 Our fans are going through a fantastic stage, it must be said.
Corky Posted 24 February 2012 Posted 24 February 2012 One Derby fan said on the way out "What was that stupid fvcking scarf thing? Fester cvnts." Sssssssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhh "DO YOU EVER SCORE A GOAL? RAM BASTARDS"
Simmo86 Posted 24 February 2012 Posted 24 February 2012 One Derby fan said on the way out "What was that stupid fvcking scarf thing? Fester cvnts." Sssssssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhh Doesn't care.... We did make another cracking noise last night, the Derby fans in the corner made me laugh, slowly but surely they started to sit down when they realised they couldn't compete!

Dan Posted 24 February 2012 Posted 24 February 2012 Their fans made decent noise at times but a couple of their songs, so embarrassing, "is that all you take away" was a personal favourite, simply astounding.
Ozwin Posted 24 February 2012 Posted 24 February 2012 I had to laugh at the 'nice scarf' comments we were getting on the way out. 1-0 and a compliment on my neck attire, lovely folk them Derbians.

The're concerned. The more scarf's we sell means more sheep need shearing which means they have less to hold onto.
Out Foxed Posted 24 February 2012 Posted 24 February 2012 I had to laugh at the 'nice scarf' comments we were getting on the way out. 1-0 and a compliment on my neck attire, lovely folk them Derbians. the best comment i heard was when the last of us were trailing out with "derby's a shithole" ringing. one of the stewards got upset and put his head down and shouted in exasperation "why don't you just **** off home then!!!" haha
