rico Posted 26 February 2012 Posted 26 February 2012 The Razzies has been giving out awards for the worst Hollywood has to offer since 1980, and today we have the nominees for the 32nd Annual Razzie Awards, nominating Adam Sandler a record-setting eleven times, which is more than double Eddie Murphy's old record. Sandler wasn't only nominated for Worst Actor and Worst Actress, but his films "Jack and Jill," "Bucky Larson" and "Just Go With It" were all nominated several times as well.
JimmyB Posted 26 February 2012 Posted 26 February 2012 'Just go with it' is a brilliant film! Is it not?
purpleronnie Posted 26 February 2012 Posted 26 February 2012 No surprise, he was good in one film though. Punch drunk love. 'Just go with it' is a brilliant film! Is it not? it is not.
rico Posted 26 February 2012 Author Posted 26 February 2012 i like the fact he's been nominated for worst actor and actress
Ilkeston_Fox Posted 26 February 2012 Posted 26 February 2012 Each to their own, I'm a Sandler fan, oh look, The Waterboy is about to start.....
Nick Posted 26 February 2012 Posted 26 February 2012 "Friends can listen to Endless Love in the dark....." Love the ice rink caretaker singing along to this - lovely touch:
21st Century Fox Posted 26 February 2012 Posted 26 February 2012 He was supposed to be the Bear Jew in Inglourious Basterds but he chose Funny People instead. It was a good film but he would have been better than Eli Roth. I don't understand how he actually went on to make films that were scarily similar to the spoof films that George Simmons makes in Funny People.
BlueSi13 Posted 26 February 2012 Posted 26 February 2012 Only decent when he plays a retard. Everything else is just embarrassing.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 26 February 2012 Posted 26 February 2012 Possibly the most unfunny "comedian" ever. I was introduced to him by my Sis-in-law's husband who said I should watch Happy Gilmore as it was the funniest film ever... Really? (actually as it stands, his best film, but still hardly side-splitting.)
Corky Posted 26 February 2012 Posted 26 February 2012 I liked him in Big Daddy. I was 10 at the time though

Webbo Posted 26 February 2012 Posted 26 February 2012 him, along with Jim Carrey are like marmite, you either love em or hate em Adam Sandler isn't in the same league as Jim Carey.
rico Posted 26 February 2012 Author Posted 26 February 2012 Adam Sandler isn't in the same league as Jim Carey. was just using Jim as an example
Webbo Posted 26 February 2012 Posted 26 February 2012 I try to avoid AS's films but I saw Don't mess with Zohan. It was like a very crude kids programme.
rico Posted 26 February 2012 Author Posted 26 February 2012 I do like some of his films, Happy Gilmore,Chuck & Larry,Zohan and Bulletproof, but he sticks with a formula and he's been successful with it
21st Century Fox Posted 26 February 2012 Posted 26 February 2012 WTF "Well you're the one that asked the wizard to make you young again" hahahaha I would actually watch that film...
