Next season wishlist

Who would you like to see come in next season?

I would like:

A new right back, a winger, CDM who takes the game by the scruff of the neck and is a good leader, and a target man.

Also I think we could do with a defensive coach, too.

A right back and a better backup to kasper!

Don't think we'd look to get a CDM cause nige is a 4-4-2 man!

If we stick with 44 ****ing 2 every single game I might top myself.

Rather try and hammer that than go back to sven's failure of a formation!

Yeah but with Wellens and Danns in the centre teams go through us with ease. Definitely 4-4-2 at home though.

We can't even keep a constant starting 11 until we can find The right team we shouldn't change our formation! Changing too much at one time will well and truly damage our hopes!

Like James Wesolowski and Paul Henderson? :L

There not all that bad, there is a few decent youngish aussie players that would be good to see. Tommy Oar who is young and would be able to get on loan (19-20 YR old quick winger)

It would be interesting to see how much scouting nige does abroad!

I doubt it would be Nige personally, but i reckon he would have a few contacts around the place. But in the time he has been here he hasn't really got any one from overseas except maybe Nobby Solano.....who had history in English football and that player that was decent

When I said nige I meant him and his staff it's easier than listing them all! But nige tends to scout in the football league!

More important than New signings is to keep most of the current squad.

If we can keep the current lot together we only need three new players. A right back and two wingers.

We are so close to being a seriously good team and remember King (despite his indifferent form this year is one of the most wanted players in this league) and Waghorn should be back. Players like Schlupp and hopefully Hopper will have a few pro games under their belt.

Additionally, we have partnerships developing all over the pitch (Nuge and Becks/Morgan and Ledge and maybe King and Drinkwater). One thing I would hate to see is a huge exodus followed by and influx of 7/8 players again. We don't need it provided these guys stay

Personally I would like 5/6 new signings:

Mobile target man- couldn't think of many mobile target men but 2 sprung to Mind 1) Darius Henderson, this guy has been pinging them in this year and has helped a lot in the build up play for millwall! 2) Freddie Piquionne, always rated this guy he has been made available by west ham and would be rather cheap!

Winger- We need just 1 more winger who will run at his man every time he gets given the chance therefore I would love Pearson to go back in for Cameron Stewart I have kept my eye on him past couple of years and he just gets better and better!

Hardcore centre mid!- Couldn't think of any HCM's that where available therefore some suggestions would be good but they need to be in the mould of scott Parker or lee cattermole! Ive allways been impressed with that N'Daw from brum!

Right back- with the fair play rule starting next year to have a player like Paintsil on supposedly 25k is madness therefore we need to go for someone else an attacking minded right back and again I thought of 2 options 1) Surely it is worth a try to get naughton to come back ino its a long shot but worth a try! 2) if that fails then more realistically I would say Liam rosenior he is quite attack minded but is also quite solid at the back!

Back up goalie- weale is bound to leave in the summer and Logan, smith are just not good enough so I would like us to attempt to sign that Zambia goalie Carnt remember his name but he was a beast all game and didn't make 1 mistake!!

Centre back?- If mills was to decide to leave we would need another centre back I personally have always rated Danny shittu so would like us to move for him!

  • Centre midfield - Defensive, ball retainer.
  • Centre midfield - Attacking, creative.
  • Left Winger - Pacey and can run at players (better than Dyer), end product is a bonus at this level.
  • Right back - Barely seen anything of Paintsil to suggest he's an adequate back up/competition to Pelts.
  • Striker (possibly) - I think Beckford and Nugent are a great first choice pairing and Beckford will keep improving but a third striker on their level to provide backup and/or competition would be great.

I know it's all easier said and done but these would just be ideal. Another important thing I think we have to consider is that the players we bring in should be improvements on what we have now. They need to be better than Dyer, Wellens and Danns.

Failing that then i would like to see some Australians in the team.

how about some kiwis??? Chris Wood for sure!!! Marco Rojas class quick tricky left winger and only 19......

Hamer Bouazza or Cameron Stewart

Jordan Rhodes

Jacob Butterfied - playmaker

Steven Whittaker- RB

Fabrice Muamba or Francis Coquelin on loan would be ideal in the defensive midfield role.
