Guy Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 For aerial presence how about Zigic from Brum? - or will this encourage too much of the "hoof ball" up front to him again? - very much in the mold of Liverpool when they play Carroll up front.....or when we've played Howard up front this season.......

Waghorn is only young though and we paid a fair whack for him, I think it would be foolish to sell him on this early. Gallagher still has good games so I'd definitely retain him - after all, he has a 100% penalty conversion rate with us over this season and last - and he scores some cracking goals. Admittedly he flatters to deceive in other games but he is still a valuable member of the squad.

Zigic No thanks....hes already on big wages at Brum...& imo hes a tad overrated

When it comes to gally, yes its good to see a wonder goal once every 10 games but apart from that he is uneffective in games and when it comes to defending I find him as a reliability!

I’m sure if we get behind them and stop expecting miracles overnight we are well on the right track

Just realised that's 6 or 7 signings, which is more than I thought we'd need. I'm still not convinced by him, although he has been improving recently. I just don't think he's NP's sort of player and wouldn't be in the least bit surprised to find out we sell him in the summer.
