think we need a new target man striker to replace big Steve, someone like Futacs from Pompey comes to mind atm.

He would do as he is young and has potential, I don't think Waghorn is good enough either someone like Rhodes to replace him would be ideal.

Darius henderson,

robert snodgrass,

maybe a right back that guy who looks about 50 for cardiff,

defensive midfielder although i think bamba could do that if we needed it

last but not least HESKEY!

Back up goalie- I would like us to attempt to sign that Zambia goalie Carnt remember his name but he was a beast all game and didn't make 1 mistake!!

Please, please tell me this is a joke.

For the first time in ages: not a new keeper. :scarf:

Many people have been saying we need a new DM or holding CM and a winger over the past few weeks and I agree that this is where we need to focus on.

A new LB would be a nice addition too.

I think whoever we buy, there needs to be a small quantity. We need some continuity.

Maybe 3/4 new players and thats it....

Look at Reading, there midfield has barely changed in years and they've done very well. Swansea similar, they kept a similar side for years before they went up

1) Nigel Pearson to remain in charge for the whole season

2) For the owners to remain quiet in the press

3) The players not spouting off in the press about how we should be doing better or the typical 'someone is in for a hammering' headline which makes the merc at least three times a season.

4) Going to a game knowing that if we go 1-0 down we can come back and win

5) Put relegation threatened teams to the sword

Back-up GK. Not going to suggest names as I'm no genius on Prem reserves but can see Pearson making a similar loan to say... David Martin, Stockdale etc... Because at the minute, if Schmeichel gets injured, which knowing this season he probably will, then we're fvcked.

Another RB. I'd guess someone fairly young again, probably another Peltier so you can rotate the two. Peltier may have been poor lately but he made a jump from L1 and he's only a young lad, he's not missed a game in a LONG time for us, and Pantsil simply isn't worth the wages.

Another CB. Someone like Michael Morrison I'd guess, probably a Man Utd reserve.

Winger. I can see us going back in for Cameron Stewart if I'm honest.

Centre mid. This should be our priority IMO, we're so over-ran there, we need an all-rounder, someone who's strong and can pick a pass too, a serious box to box midfielder, this should be our big signing, not that I have any suggestions. lol

Forwards. I think we'll sign one maybe two, can see us going back in for Vardy. A personal shout of mine, someone who I rate and is a pretty mobile target man and it mains raiding "them" again, but Dexter Blackstock. I'd be very happy to see him here, easily Forest's best forward IMO even after a return from injury.

New target man, another winger, and another back up keeper.

I think stability is key though for us, so we should try and keep signings to a necessary minimum. We've got the squad to be up there, just not the consistency.

Stewart (hull)

Brady (man utd on loan at hull)

Lawrence (portsmouth)

Evans (sheff utd)

Chester (hull)

Clyne (crystal palace)

All realistic play I think Nigel could go for

My wishlist !

Cameron Stewart

Snodgrass

Grant Holt or Fuller

Nathaniel Clyne

Hoolahan

Perfect !

lol

If that happens I'll chop my own bollocks off.

  • Centre midfield - Defensive, ball retainer.
  • Centre midfield - Attacking, creative.
  • Left Winger - Pacey and can run at players (better than Dyer), end product is a bonus at this level.
  • Right back - Barely seen anything of Paintsil to suggest he's an adequate back up/competition to Pelts.
  • Striker (possibly) - I think Beckford and Nugent are a great first choice pairing and Beckford will keep improving but a third striker on their level to provide backup and/or competition would be great.

I know it's all easier said and done but these would just be ideal. Another important thing I think we have to consider is that the players we bring in should be improvements on what we have now. They need to be better than Dyer, Wellens and Danns.

This is exactly what I was thinking. I'd say we should definitely get that striker, though - a new target man. Offers something different, and should be good enough to compete with Nugent and Beckford for a place in the starting XI.

I hope we can shift all the deadwood, and get in these 5, maybe 6, players who should all be at least as good as the best we currently have, if not better. Failing that, they should be young and have lots of potential. I don't think the squad needs a major overhaul in the summer to be successful next season - just tinkering compared to what we've seen in recent summer transfer windows.

For me to win a huge amount on the euromillions and be able to pump in a few million into the club and have a box with free food and drink for every game

Even with a box they'll only serve you before the game, half time and after.

I'd like some brute force in the middle - would nzonzi be unrealistic if blackburn go down?

Target man for plan b

Winger

Young back up for kasper

People saying right back seemingly forgotten about Pantsil, who is more than capable of doing a job in this division if Pearson actually drops players when they deserve it
