acooling08 Posted 11 March 2012 Author Share Posted 11 March 2012 No need for the hostility! I'm a teenager. This means getting up before 11am isn't easy. Yes, I am a lazy cvnt, I just wanted to have a moan!!
lcfcliam Posted 11 March 2012 Share Posted 11 March 2012 Maybe not good or bad seats but certainly bad headroom, I gave my head a good crack going up the stairs on Saturday when boarding the coach at the KP. This wasn't the first time I have done it either! Anyone know how many Foxtravel coaches they got upto before they sold out? There was about a thousand tickets left when i got mine today and I'm on coach 19!
lestajigs Posted 11 March 2012 Share Posted 11 March 2012 Just go out on the piss the night before, hit Sophbeck til 6, have a bite of breakfast somewhere, pick up a four pack of tinnies and have a slow wander down to the ground to get there for 8.30. It's not rocket science. What about havana
Marmite Posted 12 March 2012 Share Posted 12 March 2012 Going to drive down to Wembley and leave my car there for a fiver all day and get the tube in. I always do this for London away games, so much easier than tackling that M25 and struggling to find a car park
RonnieTodger Posted 12 March 2012 Share Posted 12 March 2012 Why should we stop moaning? It was well publicised what time they leave. If you dont agree with it make your own way there. Its better to allow time for any delays on route than to leave late and arrive late. I also imagine they will have to be escorted through London at a set time agreed with the police. Turning up 30 mins early for a "decent seat" is entirely down to you. Like I said earlier, just be grateful! Maybe it's the best option some of us have. I'm certainly not forking out £50+ for a train and I don't drive. It's a silly time, but it's the best one. I'm not saying it's an outrage or I'm going to boycott it because of this, but it's completely unnecessary. How old are you if you need a decent seat on a coach ffs? If you've been on Fox Travel you'll know that if you get on the coach when it scheduled to leave then it is often the case that there are only single seats left. I went to Brighton on the coach this season with 2 other mates and there were just 3 single seats left on the coach. One at the front of the bottom tier, one at the front and back of the top tier. We were also on the coach 15 minutes before it was due to leave. Maybe "decent seats" was the wrong choice of words, as I mean paired seats or two paired seats in a row. I know what I'm talking about, and to be honest..I'm sick of the word: seat

I know what I'm talking about, and to be honest..I'm sick of the word: seat i completely understand what you are on about,,,as i've had the same problem many times when travelling with my kids,,,dotted all over the place and sometimes i can be there up to an hour early in the hope of sitting together,,or at least nearby. Lots of people board the coach and leave their belongings on the seats and go over to the hotel for breakfast/drinks. We have got on before and been told that the lower deck seats with tables have been "reserved" yet according to the club you cannot do this. PAULCFC Posted 12 March 2012 Share Posted 12 March 2012 I've decided to drive just so i can spend a bit longer in bed Not looking forward to finding a place to park though. I allways use Stanmore or Burnt Oak....plenty of street parking for nothing.
