WHY are the coaches leaving so early for the Chelsea game? The trip takes about 2 and a half hours so we will be arriving at the ground way too early for kick off.

I understand that some fans will want to have a beer before the game but personally I have no interest in that, and surely an hour before kick off would be sufficient for that?

Getting up before 8 if something I haven't done for many years, although I guess getting up to go watch Leicester will be easier than getting up to go to school/college/work. My dad gets up at 7am every morning (old bastard) and is having a great laugh over it. I don't see the funny side :S

Shrup u ;)

could be worse tbf. its better to be safe than sorry really, going that early instead of later then running the risk of getting to the game late due to traffic etc

Picnic at 7:30am? Wouldn't have the appetite for a chocolate biscuit at that hour lol

Forgot about the stop at the services, I guess that'll eat into the time a bit. But don't feel like an hour or so sitting in the stadium reading the programme :/

A coalville picnic consists of cans of carling! No food! Eatings cheating

It's been approximated that there will be around 30-40 coaches going to this match

They won't leave at 8:30. The fleet will leave later because they're never on time, and we'll likely have to wait for lots of people who think it's good to arrive at 8:29.

There will be stops at different service stations, then I'm sure the police will want to round the coaches up into one lot and bring them in. Add to the fact that the coaches will again leave later than scheduled because not all fans will be back by the time asked by the drivers.

Apparently the last time they parked the buses a 15-20 minute walk from the ground (Not sure if this is true) so that's tagged on.

You'd rather leave at 8:30 and arrive with plenty of time than leave later, hit traffic or an accident and arrive 15 minutes into the game, wouldn't you?

Yes it leaves early, and like the OP I just want to watch the game, no faff, but the logistics of the way with all the coaches mean the earlier the better in this scenario.

Don't go on the bastard bus then, go on the train and you can choose the time you want to go yourself.

Surely it's better to leave early and guarentee you'll get there on time, you don't know how long the bus may take e.g. traffic on the day. You'd moan if the bus got to the ground late because it left at 9:30 for example.

Bet the coaches will stop for about 40 minutes, think Supporters Bus is leaving at 9 which isn't too bad, any pubs around the ground?

I went to derby on this however foxes travel set off late and we ended up setting off at the same time as them

Stop moaning at him, he's making a valid point. 8:30 is ridiculous considering it kicks off at 2.05 and it's in London. Yes there's a 45 minute stop but we'll get there nearly 2 hours early. Also, you always have to get to the coach about 30 mins before it's due to leave to get a decent seat.

The coach costs £19 so it makes more sense than to go via train which could cost triple that when you include the tube.

Why should we stop moaning? It was well publicised what time they leave. If you dont agree with it make your own way there. Its better to allow time for any delays on route than to leave late and arrive late. I also imagine they will have to be escorted through London at a set time agreed with the police. Turning up 30 mins early for a "decent seat" is entirely down to you. Like I said earlier, just be grateful!

Everybody knows you have to get there early to get that one seat that has the robot that comes out of the back of the seat in front of you and gives you a blowjob, whilst you look out of the window at the artificially projected images of the swiss alps zip by as you're going down the motorway. I thought this was common knowledge.

Im taking the coach down, just grateful for a ticket to the game and a coach ticket, parked a few times near Chelsea on street meters and it was £1 for 12 mins and with the price of fuel its a bargain on the coach, early start for me as ive got 25 miles to Leicester in the car to do first, probably get a good 45 minute stop at services. Certainly not going to moan about 8.30 start, which will probably be nearer nine by the time the latecomers roll in. I was on a coach to Athletico Madrid once, now thats another story.

What number coach is that? Or does every coach have a seat like that, :jump:

I didn't know the coaches had good and bad seats :nono:

Maybe not good or bad seats but certainly bad headroom, I gave my head a good crack going up the stairs on Saturday when boarding the coach at the KP.

This wasn't the first time I have done it either!

Anyone know how many Foxtravel coaches they got upto before they sold out?
