Rusko187 Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Ditch it, we always lose in it tbh This have been my thought for quite sometime! Hence when they were available at discounted price I avoided like the plague
FrankieADZ Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Personally I'd rather have the jade & navy or the black 1 back as third kit.
acooling08 Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Blue and White should always be our first and second kit colours. For the third strip I'd like to see something other than yellow.. but not red! My top 2 hated clubs Forest & Liverpool play in red.
TrentFox Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Personally I'd rather have the jade & navy or the black 1 back as third kit. Agreed - I thought that black kit was fabulous.
Kitchandro Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Black is such a boring colour. It's worn at funerals for a reason. Maybe that Green with yellow pinstripes should make a comeback. Except that was bad luck too! Don't see what's wrong with the colour yellow tbh, we've had some cracking yellow kits, mainly under O'Neill. 05/06 we had a nice one as well
Voll Blau Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Blue and White should always be our first and second kit colours. For the third strip I'd like to see something other than yellow.. but not red! My top 2 hated clubs Forest & Liverpool play in red. Shame it's also the same colour as the stuff that keeps your body going then eh? Grow up. A red away kit would look the bollocks.
RonnieTodger Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Don't think we've won in White this season either? We won at Bury in Yellow!
Jace Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Shame it's also the same colour as the stuff that keeps your body going then eh? Grow up. A red away kit would look the bollocks. My blood is blue
Kitchandro Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 I wouldn't know because nobody makes me bleed my own blood
Kitchandro Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 I'd rather us wear skins No homo The idea with kits is they're supposed to be the same colour for the whole team. Morgan and Konchesky would be having problems.
dannyjpage Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Has anyone bought this seasons yellow kit? Im in agreement with most on here that we should scrap it I did see something really interesting Peterborough United have given the choice to their fans for their 3rd kit for next season There are 3 options on their website for them to vote They are pretty bad, so if you fancy a laugh for next season go on there and vote for the worst one
JonnyBoy Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Shame it's also the same colour as the stuff that keeps your body going then eh? Grow up. A red away kit would look the bollocks. it would look shite
AstroFox Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Red would be better than pukey yellow. Also read this: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/science/science-news/6097954/Why-teams-in-red-win-more.html

I'd cheerfully take a red away kit.
Kitchandro Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 I wouldn't want red more because I've just never seen it as one of our colours. Blue and white obviously, the fox on our badge is a goldy/yellowy colour, I don't like black but it was the colour of our first ever kit. I know we have wore red before but not for a long while. I can understand what people mean about the Forest thing though, I mean why red? white is Derby's kit yes but it's also always been our secondary colour. And blue has always been our primary one, and we're not rivals with Chelsea anyway. Red is just a bit random. When I think red I think scum. TBH though it's only a third kit, we only wear it 3 or 4 times a season.
Raw Dykes Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Presumably you don't like our home kit because Chelsea play in the same colour, or our away kit because Derby play in white. I'd cheerfully take a red away kit. But surely you think of Leicester first when you think of blue and white kits? I don't want to see us play in red. It's just not right. There's plenty of other colours to choose from. Orange would be fine.
Guest Bilo Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 Surely the whole point of an away kit is that it is as far removed from the home kit as possible? The only reason people don't associate red away kits with us is because we haven't had one for 20 years. The fact is that red away kits were a staple for us back in the day, so what's wrong with reintroducing them? As has already been said, it'd be a third kit so would only be worn a few times a season. I'm struggling to remember a good yellow away kit, so it'd be nice to go for a change. All this said, the reintroduction of the green kit would be even better.

Bob Weasel Fox Posted 16 March 2012 Posted 16 March 2012 Blue = Home Kit White = Away Kit Green/Gold should be 3rd kit or Black with light Blue sash or Light Blue and Brown halves
FrankieADZ Posted 16 March 2012 Posted 16 March 2012 or a pink away kit and give a certain amount of the money made on each shirt to charity. think Brizze rovers did that
Guest Bilo Posted 16 March 2012 Posted 16 March 2012 http://www.ebay.co.u...=item2a1aaa3a7f http://www.vintagefo...rt-pid1463.html Fair enough Kitchando, I'll give you that. Though even this isn't as pleasant as the white version of that strip worn in this match. I just prefer red or white, and if 'red is Forest's colour' is the best counter argument then we should have one purely to annoy the ******.
