acooling08 Posted 18 March 2012 Posted 18 March 2012 Danns was awesome today. Picked the pocket of players worth 10x his value. Good shot hit the post for the first goal. Seems like he really cares as well.
Guest Col city fan Posted 19 March 2012 Posted 19 March 2012 Danns and Drinkwater good enough for success next season? I would say just about. Danns looks fitter under Pearson which I think is the big change.

And also being played in his right position helps, least not forgetting Kingy who will be part of the competition next season, still think NP will sign a DM, because we need one having let Yuki and Fernandes go.
leicesterisme Posted 19 March 2012 Posted 19 March 2012 I think people are going overboard saying he's potentially the player of the season and he will be crucial for us next season. He's useful and don't get me wrong he's been very good of late but have people forgotten his ineffectiveness for most of the season? It's like Beckford really, not sure either have proved themselves as big players for us yet despite improving. He was played out of position for alot of games at the start of the season, then he had a spell of not even making the squad. Since Pearson has came in, for me he's been our best player.
cosmos Posted 19 March 2012 Posted 19 March 2012 Danns was fantastic, never stopped running and didn't look out of place even against chelsea
Lambert09 Posted 19 March 2012 Posted 19 March 2012 Danns and Drinkwater excites me so much. But unless wellens gets injured (which ive noticed he never does haha) we wont see that for a long time
halferowley2 Posted 19 March 2012 Posted 19 March 2012 Definately most improved player this season and hopefully an inspiration to other squad players Well done
Langston Posted 19 March 2012 Posted 19 March 2012 Definitely can't fault him recently, MOTM today and not for the first time in the last couple of months. Just goes to show you shouldn't cast a player off so soon doesn't it? Remember you wanting rid around Crimbo time. There's a reason he's so highly thought of in this division.
ealingfox Posted 19 March 2012 Posted 19 March 2012 Totally agree, Danns has been fantastic in recent months, since Palace away I reckon. Great to see him attempting shots (with a very pleasing accuracy rate btw) frequently, I remember Cech making a fabulous save from him in the first half yesterday. I hope it continues, easily makes one part of a promotion-winning midfield for me, with next season in mind.
Bluearmyfox28 Posted 19 March 2012 Posted 19 March 2012 Once DD settles in and starts to find form I think him and Dannzy could be immense for us next year although saying that I would love us to replace Wellens for Butterfield!!
