Thats Nigel Pearsons record as Leicester City manager cant think of many manager who can better that sort the away form out and we'll be marching uo the table next season no problem!

I done this on Twitter the other day and got like 35 retweets lol only the record is actually even better. It's 6 in 64.

That's in all comps however, he's never lost a home cup game for us.

Millwall in L1, Bristol City, Reading (shock), Preston and WBA won here when we made the top six and Barnsley (lol) is his only home defeat (lol) since returning.

There are very, very few sides who can boast a record like that. Incredible.

No, no, no, you are doing it all wrong, you are supposed to twist statistics to make the manager and the players look bad.

7 years on this forum and you still haven't got the hang of it.

whats the number of wins and draws?

Good question but my guess is around 36 wins 20 draws.

Bristol City are also the only team to ever win by more than a goal here under NP.

Because for the last two years we've got one of the worst away records in the country for a side as high as we've been.

This is all well and good. It's an incredible record that has gone unnoticed by the masses.

But it means fvck all to be honest because we don't have promotion. It's like Huddersfield's so-called 44-match unbeaten run (around that figure). Yeah great record*, but they're still in the same division!

I do hope this home form can continue (winning more than drawing would be preferred obviously), and I do feel that this could be a solid foundation to work for on next season I hope.

*I don't actually think play-offs count so it's a null and void record in itself, but thought I'd use it for purposes in this post!

And wasn't Steve Clark sacked a few games after that run ended - which really does seem incredible!!

Lee Clark ;). But yes. Sacked when they were comfortably in the play-offs and had a very good chance of promotion

And now they are still in the play-offs with a very good chance of promotion, hardly a massive blunder by the chairman.

Obviously something must have gone on behind the scenes which made Clark's position untenable.

Just had a look at Huddersfield ... Simon Grayson is there now! Something else I didn't realise .... doing well too ....

And Jordan Rhodes 37 goals in 37 appearances ... if only!!!!

Incredible record and shows how NP does make his sides hard to beat.

This time around i think only Reading away have beaten us by more than one goal in the league too. So yes all of our losses have been disappointing but they have at least been close.

Good record. 4 in 35 if you remove League One (which many do to make their arguments look better) is still impressive.

Shame we're still just a mid table, Championship team though.

Edit - Those without League One stats were based on the thread title, I didn't read the bit where they've been corrected by DanLCFC. 5 in 41 according to his figures.

I am slightly pissed so no chance of me working it out tonight. What is his away record in this division?

Same so I also can't be arsed. I'd hazard a guess at "shit".

In the playoff season we had the fourth best away record in the league.

Played 23 won 8 drew 7 lost 8

This season under NP we have played 11 won 3 lost 6 drew 2

So his record in this league away from home with us is played 34 won 11 drew 9 lost 14

So to clarify. The reason that we are not in the play offs this season is because of our inability to travel. It always amazes me that teams can be so different depending on where they play. Perhaps there is a lack of character in the squad a the moment. Exactly why there will be and should be a clear out in the summer.
