Ian W LCFC Posted 6 April 2012 Posted 6 April 2012 Tbh I am gonna sing my heart out and enjoy the last few games of the season even if we don't make the play offs!
TheUltimateWinner Posted 6 April 2012 Posted 6 April 2012 Last Saturday game of the season, Lets make it worthwhile!
Larry_LCFC Posted 6 April 2012 Posted 6 April 2012 It's your money pal, if you want to spend it in the cold watching shite football, it's your choice, I'll spend mine going out for a meal and a few beers, but don't worry, if we get to wembley I'll get my ticket! You pal are exactly my point. A true leicester fan would go regardless of how well are doing. I will be there because i support my team whatever happens, not just when I feel like it. How you can call yourself a leicester fan with an attitude like yours is beyond me!

Libertine Dream Posted 6 April 2012 Posted 6 April 2012 Think this will scrape over 20k but Burnley on a Tuesday night will struggle to get 19k. Disappointed that fans completely give up if we've got nothing to go at, if Barnsley thought like that theyd have no fans soon. Its a piss poor of an excuse if you're a 'fan, maybe dont go away but at least go to home games. Ill be at the home games aswell as Millwall and Leeds because I love going to the football no matter how bad it gets.

You obviously can afford to go, others are not in that position remember and that certainly does no make them any less of a fan.

Well I can but I make sure I can. I understand not everybody is in the same boat and people try to go to what they can but if we were in the playoffs people would miraculously find the money tl go to Wembley and an extra 10000 would attend the last few home games. I know ticket prices are extorionate but home games are on mosts doorstep, I can understand the reluctancy to go away due to the extra costs. Still.everybody has different interests and ways they want to spend their money and in these times most aren't able to split it many ways.
stourbridgefox Posted 6 April 2012 Posted 6 April 2012 I'm lucky enough to be able to afford a ticket and I'm just looking forwards to the game. My step-daughter is back from university for a few weeks and I've got her a ticket. I've told her the atmosphere has been great recently so I hope it's as good as it has been. The playoffs are out of the window though. There is, yet again, always next year!!
red5 Posted 6 April 2012 Posted 6 April 2012 I know what your saying and agree with it to a certain extent, but to say the football is shite is abit of push don't you think. Don't know not seen it yet, but some most definately have been.
NewburyFox Posted 7 April 2012 Posted 7 April 2012 Just hope it's above 20k. Got over 20k for every home league game this season, don't want to break that habit.

I will probably give this a miss. For me when there is nothing left to play for (We ain't going up or down) I don't find football anywhere near as interesting. I have never watched a friendly, not even an England televised one. I went to Peterborough because the Play Offs were still on. I just can't justify spending time & money for what is essentially a pointless game. Oh, and this doesn't mean that I only go when we are doing well. If we were fighting relegation I'd still go down.
Simmo86 Posted 7 April 2012 Posted 7 April 2012 People saying lowest ever at the Walkers/KP....Jesus things aren't that bad! 21349
Guest Col city fan Posted 7 April 2012 Posted 7 April 2012 Was in London on the piss all day yesterday so I'm feeling fragile. But I'm gonna go. My mates arent! First time the three of them (all season ticket holders) haven't been to the last Sat home fixture for five years. Reason being? They said they 'got better things to do!' I think many people may 'have better things to do' today. c. 20k tops
HEGGSY Posted 7 April 2012 Posted 7 April 2012 32,260 I know you're joking, you are joking aren't you?
ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 7 April 2012 Posted 7 April 2012 I know you're joking, you are joking aren't you? of course i'm joking, part-timers won't come out today
Karljohn Posted 7 April 2012 Posted 7 April 2012 Well they count the 14,500 ST sold no matter if they turn up or not, cant see Donny bringing anymore than 500 so im going for 18,900. Not sure about the fans giving up, I think the club have given up on the fans with this one, no cheap ticket deal in place on a bank holiday weekend against bottom of the league, marketing needs a kick in the bollocks.

Matt Posted 7 April 2012 Posted 7 April 2012 Struggling to find enthusiasm to go today but I'll be there, what else is there to do on a Saturday afternoon?! That's the annoying thing when I say I'm not sure if I'll renew my season ticket...I know I probably will just for the fact that I'll have nothing else to do on a Saturday afternoon, if they raise the price of season tickets I'll certainly have to consider whether I renew or not, perhaps just pick and choose my games instead. Anyway today's attendance? Lower than we've had over most of the season I reckon about 18,500 - 19,000.
