mitch_lcfc_1993 Posted 12 April 2012 Posted 12 April 2012 Hi guys, was just looking for some information. Me and my friend are supposed to be going to Millwall on Saturday but in a football match last night he dislocated his knee and there is no chance of him being able to make it. I was wandering whether I would be able to get a refund from the club if I cannot find a replaacement? Also, if I am unable to find a replacement, I am unsure whether to make the trip on my own or give both tickets back to the club? I imagine away days are less enjoyable alone so was wandering if anybody had had a previous encounter of following the foxes alone. Is it worth going all the way to Millwall? Come on city!!!
21st Century Fox Posted 12 April 2012 Posted 12 April 2012 The back of the tickets say refunds are accepted 24 hours before the game. I've been to a few games alone as I live in the south, it's not too bad.
Libertine Dream Posted 12 April 2012 Posted 12 April 2012 Back of the ticket says you can get a refund upto 24 hours before kick off. Edit: 21st Century beat me to it
mitch_lcfc_1993 Posted 12 April 2012 Author Posted 12 April 2012 Well I thought it was 24 hours, so I guess I am going to loose out unless I find a replacement to come as I am working till 3pm tomorrow
ian_marshall Posted 12 April 2012 Posted 12 April 2012 Sorry to hear your friends unfortunate news, however I've been to several away games on my own and never had any regrets.
21st Century Fox Posted 12 April 2012 Posted 12 April 2012 Well I thought it was 24 hours, so I guess I am going to loose out unless I find a replacement to come as I am working till 3pm tomorrow You could try ringing the ticket office ahead and explaining and see if you can get it in just after 3? Long shot but might be worth it.
HEGGSY Posted 12 April 2012 Posted 12 April 2012 Well I thought it was 24 hours, so I guess I am going to loose out unless I find a replacement to come as I am working till 3pm tomorrow TO shuts at 5, obviously depending on where you live, that should be ample time.
StanSP Posted 12 April 2012 Posted 12 April 2012 Nowt wrong with going on your own! I thought it'd be poor first time I did it, but ultimately found it to be pretty good experience and made a few new friends along the way .
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 12 April 2012 Posted 12 April 2012 My first away game by myself was Derby this season. Mint atmosphere and good result, really enjoyed it.
stourbridgefox Posted 12 April 2012 Posted 12 April 2012 Went to a couple of home games on my own when Mrs StourbridgeFox was ill. It was fine while the game was on but I did feel like Billy Nomates at half time. But I wouldn't let it put you off!
Lamby Posted 12 April 2012 Posted 12 April 2012 I've been to Derby, Southampton, Norwich and Sheff Utd on my own, never had any trouble apart from at Norwich when one of their fans tried to twat me for no reason, c*nt.
Libertine Dream Posted 12 April 2012 Posted 12 April 2012 I've been to Derby, Southampton, Norwich and Sheff Utd on my own, never had any trouble apart from at Norwich when one of their fans tried to twat me for no reason, c*nt. And they said we were high risk

Lamby Posted 12 April 2012 Posted 12 April 2012 Did he try to slap you with his webbed hand? Yes, I'm still mentally scarred from the experience
Leicesterpool Posted 13 April 2012 Posted 13 April 2012 You should be okay on your own as long you stick with the fans, when leaving the ground make sure your with a group foxes fans. Mind sound stupid but since it's been known that Millwall have got reputation I wouldn't risk walking back on your own.
lestajigs Posted 13 April 2012 Posted 13 April 2012 It says 24 hours but if you get to the ticket office before 5 today they will give you a full refund!
