_Fatboyslow_ Posted 15 April 2012 Posted 15 April 2012 Charl91 what are you like!!!!!! How can you start a thread on hear and then use the excuse your mates got a box so I go to watch the villa ? How plastic is that. Maybe you should make friends with some Sunderland fans ? It is my understanding that Hesky is out of contract in the summer so could return on a free and from what I have seen on the odd TV belive we could do a lot worse. He has spent most of his career being a whipping boy so you need to come up with something more than just IMO.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 15 April 2012 Posted 15 April 2012 Emile is certainly not the player he once was, but at this level for a season, I am sure he could cut it with us, and do a pretty good job. .
Ilkeston_Fox Posted 15 April 2012 Posted 15 April 2012 Heskey's coming on in the game at Old Trafford.........I'm excited.....oh shit, this is the wrong thread.....

I'm not a villa fan, but I have watched alot of their games, so have a good judge on how well Heskey plays (and this is coming from a Heskey fan). How does that make me plastic? How hard is that to understand? Have you seen him play recently? If anything, I am biased towards Emile, as I love him as a player and a person; he's a Leicester legend, but that doesn't neccessarily mean he's good enough anymore. He's 34 after all.... As I said, he'd do a better job then Howard. But he isn't the man to get us promoted. You seem pretty deluded.....
Jace Posted 15 April 2012 Posted 15 April 2012 Is he a Pearson player? If Sven was still here I am sure it would be very likely he would return. Also I could imagine MON trying to sign him for Sunderland once he is out of contract but I suppose we could be an easier option for him
wellyfox Posted 15 April 2012 Posted 15 April 2012 anyone who doesn't support Emile is not a true foxes fan. if thats you. do one! moan moan moan negative moan moan boo moan. More bollox are you back to school in the morning? Not a true fan cos you have an opinion total bollox. If he can cut it who knows but he don't deserve a slagging down just a simple not for me comment would be better. Would we even have a club without him and Lineker? Abuse is not deserved on this one FFS.
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 15 April 2012 Posted 15 April 2012 Charl91 ... Ok sorry you didn't start the thread but the more you claim to be a expert on him at villa the less creditable you are. Are you really just a plastic fan hopeing to latch onto a winning club, or a villa fan who wants to keep Hesky! And as you watch from a box your view must be better than those playing, coaching run clubs or just the plebes in the rain.
vandamman Posted 15 April 2012 Posted 15 April 2012 I'm sure everyone said Jason Roberts was crap but he has been great for Reading since joining them. Don't write him off, I reckon he would batter the championship.
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 15 April 2012 Posted 15 April 2012 Thing is if your over 31 and play poorly you are old if you play well you are experienced. And let's face it what other clubs would want him ? Is he a Pearson Type of player, don't know but it would be fun watching if he isn't
Happy Fox Posted 15 April 2012 Posted 15 April 2012 I would take Heskey he is far better than Howard, probably got the legs for 2 more seasons, next season in the championship he could be a threat for us and would definitely aid in Beckford's and Nugent's game.
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 15 April 2012 Posted 15 April 2012 I love Heskey, but watching him at Villa over the last few seasons he comes across as slow, clumsy and past it. He would be a fat version of Beckford i'm afraid, sorry too be blunt Heskey!

RyanB89 Posted 15 April 2012 Posted 15 April 2012 better than howard, and i would still love him back
i luv u foxes Posted 15 April 2012 Posted 15 April 2012 would love heskey back here would do a great job with beckford and nugent playing off him. However for fans on here to slag him off, just remember his a leiceseter fan so would give his all every minute and when this club was on its back looking in a bad way financially Mr Heskey opened his wallet and helped leicester didnt save us single handely but i dont see many other players at other clubs chipping in for the clubs they "love". sorry few spelling mistakes just realised. Apologizes

flowwolf Posted 15 April 2012 Posted 15 April 2012 Yes it would be nice for Emile to come home even if it is for one season. He could get his feet under the table and perhaps stay on in a coaching capacity like Chris Powell. I will never forget when we were against the wall facing administration he dug into his own pockets , to me he is a legend on and off the pitch.
Zingari Posted 15 April 2012 Posted 15 April 2012 I wasn’t getting even the slightest bit excited about it actually
Ashley Posted 15 April 2012 Posted 15 April 2012 I am, I want Emile back, alongside Cottee. Or Collymore. What a strike force that could of been
leicester4life Posted 15 April 2012 Posted 15 April 2012 Or Collymore. What a strike force that could of been THAT strikeforce, in THAT game, when I was 10, gave me my first erection.

And as you watch from a box your view must be better than those playing, coaching run clubs or just the plebes in the rain. WTF are you on about?!?!?! You're chatting shit and making stupid assumptions. I haven't said I'm an expert or anything; you asked if anyone had seen him play, I answered. ALL I was saying is I have seen Heskey play quite a few times recently, and he hasn't been that good. IMO he's been good enough for a mid-table championship side, but probably not a winning one. Have you seen him play recently, or are you basing your opinion on how he used to be for Leicester? He'd be good to bring on for when we're winning and need to hold up the ball, but that's about it (basically a howard replacement). I wouldn't mind him back, but he wouldn't set this league alight. I'm a leicester fan too, funnily enough, so stop being a complete dick and trying to pretend I'm a Plastic/Villa fan, because that doesn't actually change the point I'm making. All you're doing is trying to avoid the point, and it makes you look stupid.

LCFC BEAST Posted 15 April 2012 Posted 15 April 2012 He killed Ferdinand in the air today so I'm sure he'll do good in the championship! Come home Heskey
Charl91 Posted 15 April 2012 Posted 15 April 2012 he looked pretty good when he came on today Must admit, I didn't see the game today. As I said, I don't think he's been great, and villa fans would probably agree. That being said, if he was good today, I'l take your word for it!
