The People's Hero Posted 20 April 2012 Posted 20 April 2012 Best way to improve the experience would be to bring back the thread I created where you'd pick a member and over the week posters would post 3 questions for that poster to answer. I wouldn't say it ever even verged on sensible but it was at least interesting and amusing at times. Much better than most of the inane drivel you get on any and all forums. Problem is that forums are open to the public and that registering is just not challenging enough. The barrier to entry is simply insufficient. Just imagine talking to a cross section of all society. It would be horrendous - and yet thats what we're doing. I'm being horribly judgemental but there we are - its been a bad day!

It's got beyond moronic due to the fact that so manner wank threads are allowed to exist - all discussing the same fvcking things. I wonder if I am still the all-time leading ex-Mod with the most deletions? If I still had my powers I'd clear the whole damn section tonight.

Then I'll start a new thread where I'll decide which players should be sold, how much for, and who to. My mind is on fire right now. What this forum really needs, more than anything else, is a thread where I tell everyone which players I think NP should buy and how much they should cost.

This should go in the Gear Grinding thread but it does my head in, when people say "Sven paid them this, Sven sold him for that", some people still genuinely believe (thanks to Championship/Football Manager) that owner's entrust their money to managers/glorified coaches who have no understanding or relevant qualifications in economics and just come up with arbitrary prices for players, without taking into consideration buying out contracts, market value etc. etc. The amount of thread that have crap in like "well Sven gave him that contract". Andrew Neville et al either gets away with murder or must be a bit pissed of that their jobs go ignored.
