I can understand people having a go at him as he didnt have a lot to do, however, i just hope he is replaced by a better player. Getting rid of players is all well and good.. BUT they have to be replaced, id sooner be paying 25K a week for a quality back up like Paintsil....than 10K for billy nobody who is going to cost us points.

AyewJoking Posted 1 May 2012 Posted 1 May 2012 I imagine he was another one of the Sven clan that came for the money, didn't particularly look anything special during his limited game time, Pelts has proven to be far better having said that he has gone of the boil in the past couple of months but that is due to not having any competition priority is to sign a RB which I am sure NP will do. Do we need to sign another right back to deter Peltier from being complacent and going off the boil?

On another note if I was NP the right back position would be one of the first I would look to address. I just don't rate Pelts.HisI positional sense isn't great, he doesn't track back, his commitment to attack isn't a patch on Konch, and he is like a startled rabbit n the final third. When ever we look to play the ball out of defence it goes across to Konch - speaks volumes.

John Pantsil, Michael Johnson, Matt Mills and even Gelson Fernandes were doing nothing and earning incredible amounts of money every week and weren't being used anywhere enough. Just goes to show the complete contrast between Pearson and Sven.
