Simo86 Posted 30 April 2012 Author Posted 30 April 2012 I think I'm the only person who liked Paintsil. I don't think anyone really saw enough of him to make a judgement. I love the way he does a lap of honour if he's on the winning side though!
Guest MattP Posted 30 April 2012 Posted 30 April 2012 What an absolutely ridiculous signing this was.
Danno Posted 30 April 2012 Posted 30 April 2012 Only ever saw him play for 5 minutes when Pelts got subbed, glad he's gone, another off the wage bill. Could he help in Schlupp's development seeing as he's Ghana's captain?
DeclanMC Posted 30 April 2012 Posted 30 April 2012 I thought he was gonna be a great signing, key part of fulham's europa league squad in the season they got into the final. (Along with konchesky lest we forget) That was until I saw him get torn to shreds by Adam Lallana in august. I think this was a worse signing than kaebi or akinbiyi.
MikeyT Posted 30 April 2012 Posted 30 April 2012 Why did he never get played though, I wonder. Obviously he was ill for a bit, but he surely can't have been that bad?
Corky Posted 30 April 2012 Posted 30 April 2012 Thanks for your efforts in helping us secure our status in 9th John. All the best wherever you are to wherever you go.
Happy Fox Posted 30 April 2012 Posted 30 April 2012 What an absolutely ridiculous signing this was. Michael Ball was worse!!

No where near as bad as those two he barely played, and i think he was wasted here much better than Peltier and dissapointed he has and left and was under used.

As for worse than Akinbiyi, how have you possibly come to that conclusion? I do however concede that this was among the most pointless signings in my recent memory.
Out Foxed Posted 30 April 2012 Posted 30 April 2012 great servant to the club, sad to see him go. good luck jp
cc_star Posted 30 April 2012 Posted 30 April 2012 great servant to the club, sad to see him go. good luck jp yeah, brilliant servant... collecting all those premiership wages for a total of about 3 and a half minutes of football He'll never be forgotten Worthington - Weller - Lineker - Walshie - Paintsil
flowwolf Posted 30 April 2012 Posted 30 April 2012 I think I'm the only person who liked Paintsil. No your not he was head and shoulders above Pelts as has been proven.

LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 30 April 2012 Posted 30 April 2012 Good. Good? He's alot better than Peltier, I don't know how Peltier got picked over him
MrFox781 Posted 30 April 2012 Posted 30 April 2012 Disappointed he did not get more games. But glad he's gone.
ScouseFox Posted 30 April 2012 Posted 30 April 2012 I'm still massively confused as to why he was never played. Pelts has had a few runs this season were he has been dog muck and we've continued to play him despite having Paintsil on the books. He's a Europa League runner up, experienced Premier League player who also captains the country who finished in the top 8 in the World Cup 18 months or so ago. Something weird happened here, but seen as he never really played, no great loss.
